A ton of fun. They were able to have a group of 5 of us drop in for about an hour. We got a quick tutorial on axe throwing with the various tools and then we were left to do it ourselves with periodic checkins make sure it was going good. The boozy moos served there was also fun. I was able to get a flight of the ice creams and try a couple of different flavors. Would totally go again.

Was a fun experience and we had a great guy show us how to throw and help us where needed. Informative and nice.The downfall was entering in they made it feel very confusing and didn’t seem to have a hold of the place. Want busy either so I expected a little more help with the process at the beginning. Also was hoping for more of that throughout but they seemed to be very distant.

I can’t say more good things about The Yard and the team here. I’ve never planned a birthday party before but they went above and beyond to make this surprise birthday everything I hoped for and more. The event planning was seamless and the event coordinators were so great to work with. All the guests, and especially the guest of honor, had a great time. Again I can’t thank The Yard for making this a great experience. Will definitely be back and recommended this to everyone!

As soon as you walk in you realize that the space looks even better in person. There is a huge “lawn” for playing games, there are axe throwing lanes and the space is really well put together. For seating they have a few round top tables and the bar, when you are axe throwing you can sit at one of the long lane tables and they have hooks available to place your coat. It's a very informal place as there is not a large kitchen or servers. The bartender was absolutely wonderful and was also working the kitchen and ice cream! My favorite part were the cocktails, my friends favorite part was the axe throwing... but that's because he was a lot better at it than me! The coach was super kind and gave us both some tips which did help. I will definitely be back!

We hosted an event here this past weekend and we had a great time. Great atmosphere and overall vibe! Our host was amazing (wish I remember his name). Brianna who coordinated was amazing. 2/5 stars for caterer they use.The yard itself 5/5!! If you host an event here go with The Yards food and not the caterer they recommend called 518 Market. Our group of 30 was dwindled down to 19 due to the storm and food still ran out. Half trays for a party of 30 doesn't work and for $660 we did not even get plates for the food. Had our whole party showed up, we would have had to order pizzas or something. The caterer was punctual and the food was ready (somewhat dry) and certain items were tasty, like the beef.I would 100% host and event here again.....their food of course! Little hidden gem in Albany
