Complete waste of time. Was told they don’t sell cigars…?Edit for response: Nope. Thinking of the right place. Was visiting the area and went the location following the Google Maps instructions. Didn't see evidence of a "wide variety" of anything.

What a strange experience. Showed up around 5PM on a Wednesday to find the lights on but door locked with a note on it saying speak to the bartender next door- he said he’d open it for me and spent 5 min searching for the key. We went in - no one there at all - and he then couldn’t find the key to the glass cabinet that had a very limited range of cigars with no prices on them. After he called someone to try to find the key, I politely said see-yu! Lounge was small but seemed nice I guess. I think this place being adjacent to the State House is only really open when the legislature is in session - advice here is to call ahead, but since I’d driven 30 min to get there I was not impressed

Website pictures must have been done by an artist. Very small room, cigars more than double in price and there selection is smaller than most smokers humidors. The bartender next door is also the waiter in the restaurant and also is supposed to run the cigar shop. Worst lounge ive ever visited!

What a gem. You're going to walk into this place and be like "are you f'ing kidding me!?"... Three spacious renovated floors of leather chairs, tables and couches. My business partner and I are so excited this place opened up. For a decade we couldn't believe an upscale cigar lounge wasn't available in the area, and this place is a God send! BYOB. LFG!!!

With limited info on the website, it was tricky to figure out how this place "works" so I'll share for all here. The cigar lounge has a small but quality selection of cigars for purchase. Perdomo, Fuente (chateau line), Padron 1926 and 1964, etc. Average cigars go for $25, and mid- to top-tier go up from there. Currently in April '23 there's no other charge, but they do have lockers that you can rent through membership which allows you to bring your own cigars and stash a small bottle or two. There is no alcohol or other service, it's just a lounge. It's large, spread across three floors with a restroom on each level. Lots of comfy seating, large TVs available, and would be great for a group to hang out and converse.Very quiet on a Friday night. Had the second floor to ourselves, and a group had the upper floor. Can definitely recommend - it's great to have a spot like this in Albany.
