I had high hopes for Umi Seafood Buffet, but unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The food was bland, overcooked, and tasted like it had been sitting out far too long. Many items that were supposed to be hot were lukewarm at best, and the seafood—what little there was—tasted old and rubbery.
The sushi selection was small and lacked freshness. The crab legs were watery and flavorless, and the shrimp had a strange aftertaste. Even the simpler items like fried rice and lo mein were poorly seasoned and dry. I honestly left feeling queasy and disappointed that I spent money on a meal that was so subpar.
I don’t usually leave reviews, especially negative ones, but I felt compelled to warn others. This is not the quality or experience you’d expect from a seafood buffet.
