I can't share a photo, the Pho-- it's so good, it's like a holy whole-body healthy-food infusion; it is so good it just disappears. Top-tier homemade Bone broth is fresh, ample, gluten-free rice noodles, the served Bean spout and Basil and pepper always crisp, available pepper oil will sear with wonderful flavor if you add it, and or real sriracha & hoisin. It's the kind of place that James Beard might not have reviewed because he wanted to keep the place...
Love Vans! I was in Vietnam earlier this year, fell in love with the cuisine. Since returning have been on a mission to try all the local Vuetnamese restaurants. Vans tops the list for flavors, quality and authenticity ❤️
No fancy decor, but excellent Vietnamese dishes! My favorite is the Tofu steak. Van's is a classic fixture in Albany. I've been going for years, and hope to continue for many more.
