My first order was the kung pao chicken. They added a lot of celery in comparison to how many carrots, peanuts and chicken they added. Flavor was ok, just average. I was satisfied with portion size overall

Pretty much the best inexpensive Chinese food in Albany. Very reminiscent of Flushing, Queens.All the commenters complaining about service are absolutely tweaking. It’s a takeout place not a restaurant, set your expectations appropriately.All in all lovely restaurant, Xing Long is my favorite Chinese spot in the city.

My recent experience at Xing Long Chinese restaurant on Madison Avenue in Albany, New York, left me disappointed and disheartened. I've ordered from this restaurant in the past and had decent experiences, but today was different. The two women working behind the counter made me feel like I wasn't being treated as a human being.I placed an order for General Tso's chicken with shrimp fried rice, specifically requesting no onions. However, when I received my order and opened it at home, I was dismayed to find that it was filled with onions. Despite feeling upset, I returned to the restaurant and politely explained that my order was incorrect.Rather than offering to prepare a fresh order, the lady at the counter simply went to the back and picked most of the onions out of my meal. When I returned home and began eating, it was evident that they had not provided a fresh plate of food. Onions were still present in the rice, and it was clear that they had simply removed them from the initial plate. This made me feel like I was being treated with disrespect, as if I were less than a valued customer.Overall, my recent experience at Xing Long Chinese restaurant was disappointing, not only because of the initial mistake but also due to the lack of effort to rectify it properly. I hope that the restaurant can improve its customer service and ensure that orders are prepared correctly in the future. I will never eat there again.
