Pretty much the best inexpensive Chinese food in Albany. Very reminiscent of Flushing, Queens.All the commenters complaining about service are absolutely tweaking. It’s a takeout place not a restaurant, set your expectations appropriately.All in all lovely restaurant, Xing Long is my favorite Chinese spot in the city.

Ordered through BeyondMenu because they are a service that let's you order online and pay cash for delivery. I ordered from Xing Long today for the first time. One entree, the Shrimp Chow Mein, was missing. Another entree, the Lemon Chicken, arrived as a full container of raw broccoli topped with a garnish of oil-saturated chicken thigh strips. Last time ordering from Xing Long. I only ordered from this place because they were about $10 cheaper than my usual Chinese spot. I will stick with my usual Chinese spot in the future.

Unfortunately I feel that Xing Long has gone downhill in recent years. The food just isn't as good as it used to be. Nevertheless it does its job for a quick cheap take out meal. It's definitely a take out place, not cozy or welcoming but it will get you fed. Quick delivery.

My recent experience at Xing Long Chinese restaurant on Madison Avenue in Albany, New York, left me disappointed and disheartened. I've ordered from this restaurant in the past and had decent experiences, but today was different. The two women working behind the counter made me feel like I wasn't being treated as a human being.I placed an order for General Tso's chicken with shrimp fried rice, specifically requesting no onions. However, when I received my order and opened it at home, I was dismayed to find that it was filled with onions. Despite feeling upset, I returned to the restaurant and politely explained that my order was incorrect.Rather than offering to prepare a fresh order, the lady at the counter simply went to the back and picked most of the onions out of my meal. When I returned home and began eating, it was evident that they had not provided a fresh plate of food. Onions were still present in the rice, and it was clear that they had simply removed them from the initial plate. This made me feel like I was being treated with disrespect, as if I were less than a valued customer.Overall, my recent experience at Xing Long Chinese restaurant was disappointing, not only because of the initial mistake but also due to the lack of effort to rectify it properly. I hope that the restaurant can improve its customer service and ensure that orders are prepared correctly in the future. I will never eat there again.
Great food but watch your bank account after you purchase from here, they will add 100% tip. Not okay! That is stealing..

first time I've ordered from here, The order total after tax was $19.66 pretty cheap for the food we good, great value! however first time around I got charged $20.43 (I only had $20) get a call from the manager, seemed rude but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.. their english isn't the greatest. Then after I told them I should've only been charged $19.66 and that I only had $20 to cover it.. they went and charged my card $19.90.. got my food 25 minutes later and got 1 extra rice(who doesn't love free food) however I didn't get my chow mein noodles, I got some cabage and celery thing with chicken. Will try to contact tomorrow to see what they say/do about it

Front entrance door was locked. Used back door that was propped open to get in. Food was fast, but was okay. Gave man cash told me to leave without giving me my change. Not expecting to go back soon.

for under $20 me and my son can both get a combo plate with sesame chicken and the best white rice around. they deliver it and we offer a tip the guy acts like he's never been offered a tip before and at first won't even take it. egg rolls come with the combos but we don't like egg rolls so they let us get a can of soda instead. I've been coming here for years and unfortunately when they're closed we just don't have Chinese food that night.
My goto spot!! Food was fresh and full of flavor.
