The service and wine list were both excellent. The food ranged between excellent foie gras and dramatically overcooked salmon. Several items on the menu were not available, and the salmon was a replacement for the tuna dish I had ordered.
Always enjoy our meals here it’s lovely! I love the unique fresh breads - sun-dried tomato, saffron, always unique. My favorite is the suckling pig it’s amazing. Our last visit my mom had flown in from California excited to have their foie gras. At first we were told they just ran out, but a few minutes later the server said the chef had set a piece aside for a special guest who didn’t arrive, so they prepared it for my mom on the house - so nice of them! Nobody would do...
It was a delightful experience overall. The amuse bouche was potato leek soup--very delicious. The bread and butter were excellent. They oysters were tasty as was the spinach salad with overnight tomatoes, whatever those are-- they are delicious. The main courses were good, especially the beef rib, which was incredibly tender and slightly spicy. The service was impeccable. We were made to feel like royalty.
