We recently missed the chance to stay at the Bonnie Castle Resort due to weather issues but I can say that the staff were super friendly and very helpful, both with providing advice to Southerners trying to negotiate lake effect snow storms, and in handling our reservation needs. We hope to have the chance to actually come visit some time in the future!
I didnt stay at the resort, I was scuba diving in the bay. But the grounds are well kept and you always see maintenance workers running around.
Nearby activities: Theres a small bay for scuba diving with platforms and such. You can swim in one direction to an old car, there's a couple sail boats, and always some fish.

We stayed 3 nights; room was quiet; very clean; very roomy. Beds were very comfortable. The cleaning ladies were very nice and helpful. The desk people were very helpful and very pleasant. The room rate was lower than I could get anywhere else including Watertown. The location: walkable to anywhere in the Bay. The view of Boldt Castle was steps away. Two pools- great. WiFi worked great. I definitely would go back.
