The place was busy but we were welcomed in and sat right away! Had our coffee poured and order taken way faster than we expected and the food came out fast, hot and delicious. Reasonable prices for the amount of food you get, coffee is great, vibe is friendly and matches the rest of a beautiful Alexandria Bay trip. Definitely worth a stop. Best sausage links I've ever had at a diner!

We got there with a long line out the door, and full tables... however we were met with a smile and after a quick 5 minute wait were sat, ordered and had an amazing breakfast within 30 minutes. Amazing service and food, we will be back next time we're in the area.

Bailey was so friendly and attentive. Food was real good. Outside of restaurant needs cleaning up. Otherwise fantastic spot!

My friends and I were starting the last day of our road trip and wanted some good classic dinner food and North Star DID NOT DISAPPOINT!

Natalie was our server and she was so bubbly and welcoming. She brought us all separate checks without having to ask since we had been talking about it amongst ourselves and I suppose she heard us. Most of the places we ate out at on the trip were unable to split the check so that was a relief that we didn't have to whip out the Venmo... again... She also was happy to take a photo of our table for us.

I got the steak and eggs with English muffins and an additional side of Italian toast and it was PHENOMENAL. Idk if I was just really tuckered out and hungry but it was truly one of the best things I've ever tasted.

I believe we all payed around $17-23. Very good price, lovely atmosphere, delicious food. Will definitely be eating here again next time I'm in the area!

This is a great family restaurant. I had the Friday dinner special, 8oz sirloin with chicken lime soup. I wasn't expecting to like the soup but it was great. Steak came with glazed carrots and mashed taters. The steak was cooked as asked, and came the meal came out hot. Service was very good. The walls were all painted with local scenery. Very nice atmosphere.

Food was really good and the only waitress did an amazing job even though it was somewhat busy. Definitely recommend going.

The answer is yes, you want to go. The pancakes are the best I’ve ever had in my life. They’re a little tiny bit gooey in the middle which is how my dad made them as a kid. They put two lemons in your water… yeah you lemon water drinkers know the gravity of it haha. Such a good spot
