This is a historical place. It's been around for about 100 years, it opened when my grandpa was about 5 years old. He would eat there often, usually Saturdays after Church services. He would take us, family, there pretty often. Our family has gone there for years. My cousin worked there when he was in college at AU, about 6 plus years ago. This is one of our favorite places in Alfred.

I used to live in the area. My mother still does. When I come to visit The Jet and another local restaurant are places I visit first and second. Then I will go again at least one more time before I leave. I don't make my mother cook I just revisit these restaurants over and over while I'm there. I don't get back that often so I have to get my fix

Great food and real servings still.
great prices and attentive and fast staff.

Kid-friendliness: They bring the juice in a cup with a lid that is car friendly if you have a younger kiddo. They have crayons at the table to draw on your placemats. Since it's a college town that may be for students writing down ideas on their mats too ?
even. I didn't notice boosters but saw that my kid wasn't the only one enjoying the atmosphere and food

Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp.

They were very busy and it took a bit to get a table but the service was great despite that, very friendly and came to check when the server was able. Only complaint was that the eggs on the eggs Benedict were fully cooked instead of runny. Other than that, I was happy with the service and food.

Ordered cold roast beef sub to go during their breakfast time, a good sub with little bit too much mayo but good sub.

Classic college greek diner. Used to come here regularly as a student. Some entrees are not great but the breakfast is always satisfying. Sadly they close at 3 and used to do late nigtlht dinner. I'm guessing covid changed the model. Just glad to see it was packed. And the prices...so affordable

Great place.. too bad they’re never open. Daughter is a senior at Alfred State and freshman year, we would always choose this place. We’re only an hour away, so we visit frequently & it hasn’t been open on any visit since.

The nino 's. Family has run this business since 1949. I believe I have been going there since 1975. Just a wonderful family run and own business in a small college town. Good food, good service. Lots of smiles

We made a special 50 mile motorcycle trip just to have their burger. I worked out this way last year and had one of the best burgers I've ever had. Definitely a gem in a small college town.
