“Great meal in a family environment. Where college students and local families are intermingled. With $0.75 bottomless coffee and priced right food, can't go wrong.”
“Parking: It was our first time having dinner- it was absolutely delicious…. It was delightful with the snow coming down about 2.5 inches- we had a wonderful dinner…..Thank you!!”
“This is a little gem of a place in Alfred, NY, hosting customers from the two colleges, both students and staff. It has a great variety of curry dishes available, in addition to its more traditional breakfast menu. There is some seating downstairs and much more upstairs, including outdoors. The staff are very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. This is a nice, relaxing place to eat in, or take back to the dorm or office.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available.”
“Pretty good selection, prices are low, lots of indoor games like connect 4 and pool as well as cornhole, during the summer it’s full of older alumni but it pops off during the school year.”
“Great food and nice staff. The variety of options was excellent. The staff was attentive and hard working. It was nice to see that college food isn't always bad!”
“Ordered the general tso's chicken and Singapore noodles with a shrimp egg roll. Everything was excellent, in fact, probably the best Singapore noodles I've ever had! Definitely recommend this spot!”
“Went there with my daughter for coffee and she got an egg sandwich. The wait seemed to be considerably long ... They may have been short-staffed. She said the food was about average”
“My Dad and I stopped for a pizza during hunting season, and we were pleased. Got a medium, and it was more than enough for both of us. My Dad eats there a few times a year and recommends it, and I was impressed. He paid, so I can't comment on price. He owed me for dragging his buck out of the woods. Service was good, and we didn't wait more than 20 minutes on a Saturday evening.I'd go back and I recommend it.”
“Feels just like going over to Grandma's house for breakfast. Cozy little diner with charming atmosphere. The random coffee cups just ad this feel of visiting with grandma or your mother in law for coffee.I had Eggs, hash, bacon, sourdough, and pancake on the side served with Maple Syrup. ? so buttery and fluffy. Serving sizes are perfect with smaller hash so you don't end up with a mound of potatoes season perfectly. ?My wife had the fresh corned beef hash and it was probably the best I've ever had. This place is definitely worth the trip off the beaten path. Fresh brownie and Cinnamin Bun to go. Delicious.”
“Absolutely A Wonderful PlaceGood Service, Delicious FoodI had Breakfast but will be back for lunch and dinner while I’m here workingEverything was Fresh and Tasted better than Home”
“These ladies were a treat, I ordered the cake from Buffalo for a birthday party in alfred and everything went off without a hitch. Delicious and I mean Delicious cake.”
“Small town bar with great food, friendly service. Stopped in on a whim while dropping off our boys at alfred university. The bartender was awesome and very helpful. We will be back.”
“Pizza slices were huge at a good price. Also, I don’t think I’ve seen someone behind a counter work so hard and be so friendly in a long time. Super quick service and delicious food was spot on!”
“It's a nice little place. We go there sometimes and there's always good customer service, waitress are nice, good energy from them, food is good. I like it!”
“As all new businesses they need time to build and mature and refine all the elements, so far hush has been a excellent destination for all looking for a great cocktail come check it out for yourself before you judge it, you will not be disappointed!”
“The food isn't out of this world but the care and attention of which it is made is what makes this a great place to grab a coffee, relax and eat with your best friend or by yourself.”
“In a period of renovation, but still excellent service and great food. The wings are the best around! Service is exceptional! Try the grilled fish, if it's a Friday night - outstanding!Dietary restrictions: The wings are dusted in corn flour, so should be ok for those who are gluten sensitive. They're my favorite around, especially the PBJ wings (give them a tey- surprisingly delicious!)❤️”
“Best pizza in Hornell! You can’t beat the thin crust baked to perfection in a wood fired oven. Blackbird cider is also excellent. Cozy, hometown atmosphere. Love it!!!”
“Wonderful place to satisfy your ice cream cravings.. just too many flavors to choose from!! The service is friendly and the servings are very generous. It's a 10/ 10 in my book?”
“AMAZING! Really great prices on really great drinks. Hands down a guaranteed fun stop for a snack or beverage. This location has lots of different seating and fantastic views.”
“This is the best place in town for ice cream. Both for scenic value and for taste/quality/friendliness. It's a bit out of the way but I feel as though that adds to the value, as the only other comparable place in town, the Scoop, is in the middle of town. With busy streets, bustling school kids, and loud traffic. The Udder Place has a nice view and plenty of seating places, with unique flavors in their menu, suitable for everyone's flavor preferences. Their "Flavor Burst" soft serve is something I haven't seen anywhere else before, and I travel somewhat often. If you're looking for quality, uniqueness, and a quiet sunny place to eat the ice cream you order, this is the place you want to go.”
“Every time I go there, there service is always amazing, the food is exquisite and it's always family oriented. The ownership and staff are such amazing people! I will continue to give my business to them my business, they are an amazing bunch of people!”
“The food was amazing, and I always love a little free chips and salsa action! I believe the owner was the one who served us and he was so nice and funny! I highly ”
“My cup of coffee was cold - but I ordered it iced so that's to be expected!I may suggest having root beer floats or organic blueberry soda (no dyes) for the few that don't drink coffee, juice, tea, or water.”
“Usually would give them 5 stars but the chicken was over cooked and very dry. Macaroni salad was very good. Always bring cash, they have dial up for the credit card machine and it hardly ever works.”
“I always love coming here fries are awesome. The selection of burgers is wonderful and there wraps are nice a big and neatly wrapped not just kinda wrapped hoping it stays together long enough just to get it to your table.”
“Very friendly staff as well as very helpful in caring for customers.New Cajun grilled shrimp for an appetizer is highly recommended.Friday Fish dinners another must.Reservations are highly recommended.”
“I was in from out of town, bought a drink and Matt who I believe is the owner gave a free round to all in the bar. I had only been there a few minutes and was treated like a regular. Good experience.”
“This is one of my favorite places on earth! The owner is the greatest person I've ever met.We always get great service that go the extra mile! The food is delicious (they have vegetarian options) and the land is gorgeous, airbnbs are available.I highly recommend staying the night, having an event there, and try their food!”
“Quirky home-in-the wall filled with student artwork and odd sculptures. Amazing array of beers (on tap and in bottle) and full bar of alcohol. You can do an "around the world" tour for beer and whiskey. Mug night and well drinks cater to college crowds; a great watering hole for adults until about 9:30/10:00pm (then college students come in)Staff is friendly, local. They recognize regulars. Pub grub available. A must stop if you're visiting Alfred!”
