I have never Been so comfortable at a diner in my life, showed up at 1:50 thought they were closing on a Saturday and the waitress came out to get me, as I was walking to my car, and I had the best experience with the food I ordered in my life, I never ever eat roast beef, but the person I was with did, so I ordered the same thing, and to be Honest, I was blown away by the quality of that meal!!!! Village Cafe offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, with service that has been described as lovely, attentive, friendly, and impeccable. The food is homemade and delicious, often compared to eating grandma’s food. The menu includes grilled ham and cheese, chicken tenders, Village Plate, fries, peanut butter pie, strawberry shortcake, a patty melt with an ample amount of onions, bacon cheeseburgers, and a mushroom Swiss burger. One guest was blown away by the quality of the roast beef. The food comes out nice and hot and very quickly. Even when the parking lot is full, there is plenty of seating. It is a simple place but great, and a very satisfying experience. Whether stopping in after a long trip on the road or driving from the Dansville area toward Arkport, it is the perfect spot for a nice meal to unwind.
