Stearns has stores in both Hornell and Alfred, NY. Great place to buy fresh cut poultry and their signature grilling sauce. Call ahead for large orders. They do not except debit/credit cards.
thought chicken for supper and rememberd there was a Stearns Store! Then I saw sign no credit cards and had to rethink what I'd buy ... one of the girls said you can do check too!!! WELL I got the best chicken and gravy, fresh eggs and stuffing and will be back for more! thank you

Usually would give them 5 stars but the chicken was over cooked and very dry. Macaroni salad was very good. Always bring cash, they have dial up for the credit card machine and it hardly ever works.
