While they made drink after drink, I had to wait almost 15 minutes for a pastry that took all of 20 seconds to take out of the case and pack for me. It was also served cold straight from the case; would definitely have been better room-temp or even warm. No fork or spoon was given. But the vibes inside are great. And the pastry (apple crumb cake) was good.

It was pretty nice. They have done renovations, so it's lighter and brighter. I guess it's now owned by alfred university.

Perfect iced lattes and delicious Greek chicken pita. Very cute comfortable coffee shop nestled in a quiet college town.

We brought my aunt's ESA (a dog), a senior Chihuahua in, and had no trouble with him, nor the management/staff. He hogged my burger and fries a bit, but he's so cute I didn't mind.

This is a little gem of a place in Alfred, NY, hosting customers from the two colleges, both students and staff. It has a great variety of curry dishes available, in addition to its more traditional breakfast menu. There is some seating downstairs and much more upstairs, including outdoors. The staff are very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. This is a nice, relaxing place to eat in, or take back to the dorm or office.
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available.

My first time coming back here since college in 2020. Atmosphere is still quaint and quirky, but that's the best thing Terra Cotta has going for it. Food was not great quality, which I don't expect from restaurants, but it was e x t r e m e l y overpriced for what it is. My husband got a burrito, which was about half the size of a burrito at other breakfast places. Our service was also pretty apathetic -- she was the only one there that morning so we cut her some slack. I ordered a breakfast sandwich but requested no bagel, which in my mind seems pretty straightforward, but this seemed to push her over the edge. She also gave my husband his coffee without a lid on it, which seemed weird to me. She didn't ask whether we were dining in or doing takeout and did our order as takeout, which wasn't a big deal but a little puzzling. It's a cute place to meet for coffee, but not somewhere I'd recommend eating.

I paid $9 for a burrito expecting it to be a substantial size, but it was not substantial, it was very measly. It did not satisfy my hunger, so to finish breakfast, I needed to snack on some homemade yogurt, half a peach, and some venison jerky that I had recently made.
