Being a chef I want pristine quality for service and food. It was okay but not a place I will frequent often. The wings were wrong cause I ordered boneless and they were bone in, the celery wasn't crispy and fresh. My fries were a little hard, Elizabeth's reuben was burnt on one side but good flavor.

Walked in one Friday evening, it wasn't too busy. Thought great, we'll get through dinner quickly. Was I ever wrong. We were seated and must have waited a good 20 minutes to get our order in. Meanwhile a couple of ladies were seated near us and "bam", they have their salads. We finally get our order in and wait and wait. Then, a table of 5 was seated and they got their dinners almost immediately. The only excuse was, they were busy. As I said they weren't that busy when we were first seated. The food was fine, but won't go back.

Good food, great atmosphere. A little local place to sit and relax with friends. Dinner, drinks and good food. Definitely a huge plus for the village of Allegany!

This small bar and restaurant in a small town has been a local favorite a long time.We had lunch there and went back a month later for dinner. The food, the service, the friendly atmosphere are welcoming.Their menu is ample but not extended and a special or two are offered daily. Prices are very reasonable. But, just go and try it...you will return.
