We've been to the Farmhouse a number of times. We went last night for my mother in law's birthday. I forgot to take a picture of our food. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Their food changes pretty seasonally so they always have variety. This time I went with their burger, and it was delicious! I think it's the first time I've had the burger. The meat was delicious and the local bun was a nice touch. For my drink I got the Farmhouse Spritz ,which I'm pretty sure I get every time but it was even better than usual last night. They have a good selection of local beers. My husband got the Hangover sandwich which had fried egg and pork belly. He said it was delicious!

After going here for the 3rd time for dinner we came to the conclusion for what you pay, the food portion/quality should be increased-it's just hard to justify some prices. For example, I got the farmhouse burger which is priced at $20 with fries, the burger was well seasoned but needed another slice or two of blue cheese to offset the sweetness of the jam and for that price at least include bacon! Additionally, there is not a burger less than $18. We got an order of wood fired wings as an appetizer, that was 16$ and just seemed to be regular size wings. They do have a great spin on a crispy chicken sandwich but again for what it is, it's hard to pay $19 for that. The service has always been good here and the cocktails, although expensive, are well curated. Over all the ambiance of the farmhouse is rustic and friendly but the lighting needs to be improved. Lastly the restaurant does do a good job in keeping the menu fresh with new items like for example the crab Rangoon balls.

I ate at this restaurant last night. I had a horrible experience. In the beginning, it went well until I ordered my meal. I told the waitress/bartender what I wanted to have for dinner, but she proceeded to ask me questions like she didn't understand a word I was telling her. Every time, she would come over to us to ask if we needed anything. She would always direct her attention to my date like I was invisible. She never once asked me if I wanted a refill on my drink only him. I felt like she had an issue with me, or she did want to be there. I hate that I am writing this because I love the food and the furniture of the restaurant.

The vibe is not what we expected. The Farmhouse is for marketing only, there is nothing farmhouse about it, but it was a bucket list place to go and try out, so we did.The service was congenial, friendly and professional, but seemed like they couldn't be attentive and were stressed, probably because the rooms are divided in ways that makes it difficult to attend to tables. However, the staff, servers, and runners didn't seem to know the menu that well and put off when questions were asked. There was no, "let me ask the kitchen/chef."Definitely over-priced, especially the New England clam chowder soup @ $9 (pictured). I asked if it had been sitting around all day and separated, but she had no clue what I was talking about. It came out as fine as a can of Progresso or Campbells soup. So, editable and not exceptionable.Overall, the Farmhouse Tap & Tavern is close to farms, but they seemingly have nothing to do with them. I'll consider this to be upscale pup. The menu is not ground breaking, but well-executed for what it is. I would eat here again if someone really wanted to go, but wouldn't make a point to go back.I don't think they were pretending to be something they weren't. This is my personal impression and experience.

Went with family for dinner. I'm gluten intolerant and there weren't many options for me and the option of a gluten free pizza was off the table as their pizza oven was down. Aside from my dinner everyone in our party was happy with their meal.

We came in with 6 adults and 2 children. They were very accommodating. The food was as amazing as the staff. The barria poutine, whipped ricotta and short rib grilled cheese ? mouthwatering. The Manhattans and old-fashioneds were executed perfectly. We love this gem ?. Thank you farmhouse!

Food was decent, but $23 for a chicken sandwich and a side is ridiculous.

Went here for a late lunch. Even given the mid-afternoon timing, it was very busy (20+ minute wait). Our wait staff was great; friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive. The food seemed pretty good; my salad was OK.Chief knock against this place is the cost; $250 for six people for lunch. If this were dinner with drinks, appetizers, entrees, and maybe dessert, I wouldn't have given the check a second thought. Seemed very pricey for a lunch meal.
