Great place. Warm, friendly staff - they make you feel at home. Freshly made bagels with all the trimmings. The shop makes you feel like you are visiting with a neighbor... Definitely worth a visit!
We ordered the fish fry last Friday and it was exceptional! The fry on both the fish and the fries was very crispy — and it didn't get soggy on the commute home. I also had a breakfast sandwich from there recently and it was delicious - cooked fresh. I'll definitely be back!
This has always been a great little spot for breakfast or lunch in Altamont, both here and at its old location around the corner. As already stated by others, bagels, and pastries are all home made. There is a just a small selection for breakfast and lunch, but it has always been very tasty. (The egg sandwich they make on a bagel of your choice is great.) Owner and staff are very friendly.
