I love the farm. They are soft there. They’re friendly and time I recommend knowing a lot to pet and stuff you can feed them

Things sure have changed in a couple years. To start, who has an event that has different times than the fame is open, but doesn't put those times on the Facebook event or their own website? Get there an hour early for the baby animals and be talked to like an idiot by an employee for not knowing it has different hours than the farm.Next, prices... Holy God, $3 for a soda? No thanks. Everything else in the store was similarly 50% or more overpriced.

Down stairs food and brew isn't great. Both sub par. I know a lot of people who used to go here and lots won't go back because of the service and food. They get one star. Now upstairs with bakery and store is decent. If you are going for apple picking and cider, I do recommend. Cider donuts are very popular. Would have been five stars, but down stairs is not good.

My family and I visit Indian Ladder frequently for years. We live local. We have enjoyed the scenery of Thatcher Park and seeing the animals. It's always something to do when we are bored. The apple cider donuts are very good, especially if you get a fresh batch. The Cafe is okay; we usually will get lunch if it's not too busy. Other reviews are correct that it takes forever to get the food but I am well aware of this. I also know it's on the expensive side but i choose to eat there. However, I don't bother Apple picking or buying any vegetables because they have always been horribly over priced. I saw they just announced baby animal days so I went to look up the dates, as this would be our 10th year going. It's $15/per every kid AND adult?? It's literally a small barn area where everyone gets smushed together and a goat area. I get prices are up everywhere but this is definitely where I'm going to save my money. 100% not worth it.

We love Indian Ladder and visit all the time especially in the summer months we try to make it to every weekend cookout and event- the last few times we’ve eaten at the Biergarten (specifically inside seating) the service has been terrible and it’s super disappointing. The staff can honestly be pretty rude at times too which we usually just chalk up to them having a bad day. We came in for dinner tonight and there were two tables occupied inside with two waitresses and two bartenders. The hostess sat us and we sat there for 15 minutes with multiple employees that walked by us and blatantly ignored us. One waitress checked on the table behind us 2-3 times and had to walk right by us to do so. The two waitresses just stood there talking, texting and eating their own food. We walked by 5 employees to leave (before even being asked what we want to drink) and not a single one acknowledged us or asked if everything was okay. We are super patient people and don’t mind waiting but when you very obviously ignoring a table of people it’s pretty off putting and just plain uncomfortable. Really disappointing.

It doesn’t matter if you are a local or you are visiting upstate NY, Indian Ladder Farms is a place that you really want to visit, specially during the autumn. They have so many activities like apple picking, great beer, food, music and the traditional cider donuts… the best ones I had ever tasted. Super kid friendly and family oriented. They have cows, goats, chickens and other animals that you can pet and feed. I am so happy to see this place grow and being supported by the community.

Amazing cider donuts. The cafe inside is very cute and the food and beer is great. They also have animals onsite. In the summer it’s packed with little kids but if you go in the off season is pretty chill.

Great place at the foothills of Thatcher park for some good food and beer. The taproom inside is nice and warm.
