Altmar Hotel Reviews
Olivia has been my waitress & bartender the last few times I’ve been there! Great service! Great place to hangout on any day! Nothing else is open. Go here! You won’t be disappointed. Bigggggest chicken parm ever! Get it and eat it for a few days or split it with someone or 2 people! It feeds a few! Everything does! Big portions but good price! Everything is good here! Meatloaf Monday this past Monday was great! Thanks Olivia! 🤘🏼
The food is absolutely delicious! Everything I've ever ordered is sooooo good! Huge portions and great prices. Staff is very friendly.
Friendly cozy and great tasting food and drinks, relaxing too.

Altmar Hotel is a cozy spot near the salmon river, recognized for its delicious Balboa prime rib sandwich and flavorful wings like Thai peanut and garlic teriyaki. The wings are consistently praised as perfectly cooked, meaty, and come with great sauces, including medium buffalo, garlic-Parmesan, honey mustard, and BBQ, along with crisp celery and great blue cheese. Despite limited space, the excellent service and perfectly cooked haddock make it a must-visit. The restaurant features a clean and friendly dining room with a bar and offers a large menu to choose from. Guests have enjoyed meals like the Turkey BLT and huge cheeseburgers, all cooked to order and served with kettle chips and dill pickles. For those looking for something lighter, the scallop, potato, and ham soup is a standout choice, packed with flavor. Altmar Hotel is a popular choice for those fishing on The Historic Salmon River, and the generous portions and reasonable prices make it an appealing destination.
