I come to this unique restaurant from time to time as I like the good air that is unique to this restaurant. The staff is very helpful and experienced. The service is remarkablywonderfully rapid. Needless to say, the food they cook is exceptionaly good. I came often and I was always happy. The price is fair. I recommend this restaurant to all my friends.

Came in here on the way back from Montauk because the place looked really nice from outside. Our waiter had a definite attitude and shamelessly questioned our decision to split a calamari appetizer and personal pizza entree between two people. When my boyfriend went to the bathroom our waiter, without hesitation, came over to the table and asked me, condescendingly, if the food was enough for us (it was undoubtedly more than enough). I guess this waiter was used to people spending more money, leaving him with higher tips. Apparently he did not understand that friendliness is also key in earning a nice tip. Would not recommend going here due to unfriendly staff and how this waiter in particular made us feel.

I can honestly say that this was the worst dining experience I have ever had. I wish I could comment more on the food but because our waiter was so inept, we didn't get much of the food we ordered. I had been traveling all day from Florida and told the waiter I was hungry when I got there... so we ordered an appetizer and a salad immediately. Then we put our dinner order in 10 ish minutes later. The apps NEVER came. Dinner arrived. It was "ok". We had to ask three times to get our salad. It finally came after we finished our dinner, 55 minutes later after three requests. We ordered a second glass of wine. That didn't come until we asked 2 more times for it. We waited about 10 minutes for the wine. We cancelled the 2 apps and asked him to take make sure that he took them off the bill. When the bill came one of the apps was on it. I can't hold any of this against him. He was sweet but didn't have the skills needed to be a waiter, or he was on drugs. We wonder why the owner of a pricey restaurant would bring a staff member in who is totally unsuited for this job. Very bad experience. The owner comped us our wine. I woulda just comped the entire meal to avoid a bad review. It was a fiasco. Eat next door at Felice's. It's awesome.

Great atmosphere and location, but like everything in the area very over priced. $220 for two dishes, and a few drinks. Unfortunately, my veal was too thick and a bit chewy, I could not finish (I mentioned it, but the staff didn't acknowledge). Pasta was good. They do have a very nice bar up front. If your set on Italian food tonight you may be better off having a drink here, then get takeout from the place next door...
