This man and his business lifelong accomplice, Chef Pete are the customer based/retail version of why and how I got into food. Fred, Pete, Sous/Exec Jorge, Brandon, and yes... even Justin taught me the lines and roles of each station in a restaurant. Honey, I was green and sad and super motivated. These guys rode me like white on fkn rice. Due to that whoo-hah, I can carry my own brigade and make a killing in the raw arena. Fred was a master at his craft 60ish years ago and still is - encouraging line cooks to expound and expand 20+ years down the line. forever grateful.”

“First and foremost, the food was incredible. The restaurant’s vibe was amazing, and the waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was on point, and I had no complaints. What truly impressed me was the manager. He was great and went above and beyond to help me when I left something behind. I cannot say enough about this place. They have good intentions, and they are genuinely kind and caring people. I absolutely plan to return here again. Thank you to Stephen for saving the day, and thank you to the delicious food. “Cute American restaurant nestled inside of the Amagansett Square. Great food, starting with some of the best dinner rolls I have ever had. Chicken Milanese and halibut were both very good and the service was great! We sat in the covered outdoor patio, which was really lovely on a nice summer day.”

“First maybe some people say they have Food poisoning but if you are not aware of the food then maybe you may need some more time with it. Also since they are Cantonese and mandarin so there are different styles of chinese cooking and we must agree that from south china to northern china it is different. Cantonese have a different style and type of cooking that is different some are the same and some are different. Very little people. We ordered like 3 things on the menu got them all in 10 minutes so it was super quick. If we could we would come back but it is very far tho. 😅”

“Its tight in there-with that being said, the staff works very hard. Coffee is good and so are sandwiches.
Here's some advice for anyone going-order your food, then get out of the way so other people can order-don't linger in front of the coffee because guess what? People will want to access that area to make coffee. Let the workers do their thing and be patient-follow those simple instructions and enjoy breakfast. You're welcome.”

“This is not your shee shee type ‘Hamptons’ deli but coffee looked strong and my stirred eggs with sausage were good. They had, ready to go, scrambled eggs with spinach and several steamer tray items with vegetables. My eggs were reasonably priced. I added in the hard boiled egg for a salad I had.”

“From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by what was quite possibly the most patient host I've ever seen. She was managing a huge crowd with a smile on her face, even while dealing with guests insisting they were owed a table when they weren't. She handled everything with professionalism and kindness.

Once we were seated, we were lucky enough to have Omar as our server, and he was easily the best server in the restaurant. He made sure our table was well taken care of, checked in at the right times, and everything came out promptly, exactly the kind of service we were hoping for. The next time I come back, I'll definitely be asking for Omar.

And the food? I can't lie.. it was absolute FIRE. I'd give the meal an 8/10 overall. Every dish at our table was solid, and I don't think there was a single bad plate.

Clean, well organized, and my order is always ready. They get an A+ from me &… extra credit points for the “no pets inside” sign on the door. I’m sooooo tired of dogs coming into food places on the East End! Their sign is refreshing (direct and kind). Thanks Sweet Spot, our town loves this summer location, that’s right across from Hampton Chutney (my other fav spot). 😊”

“It is one of the best and most upscale wineries on Long Island. The wine selection is very large with some great roses, whites and reds. They also have a very delicious sake cider. The service was also great and the view was beautiful. We are red wine lovers and loved their Cabernet and Franc. Their signature rose is also delicious.”
