This man and his business lifelong accomplice, Chef Pete are the customer based/retail version of why and how I got into food. Fred, Pete, Sous/Exec Jorge, Brandon, and yes... even Justin taught me the lines and roles of each station in a restaurant. Honey, I was green and sad and super motivated. These guys rode me like white on fkn rice. Due to that whoo-hah, I can carry my own brigade and make a killing in the raw arena. Fred was a master at his craft 60ish years ago and still is - encouraging line cooks to expound and expand 20+ years down the line. forever grateful.”

“One of my absolute favorite places in Amagansett! I come to Rosie’s for breakfast or brunch pretty much every weekend, and it never disappoints. The food is phenomenal—I’ve honestly tried every breakfast item on the menu, and I can’t pick a favorite because everything is that good!

And the scones… WOW! They are quite possibly one of the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth. 😂 Seriously, don’t come here without ordering them!

But what makes Rosie’s extra special is the people. The staff is always so warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. A special shoutout to Emi behind the bar, who is an absolute sweetheart and always makes us feel right at home. ❤

And then there’s the vibe! The space is gorgeous, and I love how they decorate for every season. It always feels thoughtfully done and somehow gets even more beautiful throughout the year. When the weather allows, the outdoor seating is lovely, and the inside is just as beautiful and inviting.

“Cute American restaurant nestled inside of the Amagansett Square. Great food, starting with some of the best dinner rolls I have ever had. Chicken Milanese and halibut were both very good and the service was great! We sat in the covered outdoor patio, which was really lovely on a nice summer day.”

“First maybe some people say they have Food poisoning but if you are not aware of the food then maybe you may need some more time with it. Also since they are Cantonese and mandarin so there are different styles of chinese cooking and we must agree that from south china to northern china it is different. Cantonese have a different style and type of cooking that is different some are the same and some are different. Very little people. We ordered like 3 things on the menu got them all in 10 minutes so it was super quick. If we could we would come back but it is very far tho. 😅”

“Its tight in there-with that being said, the staff works very hard. Coffee is good and so are sandwiches.
Here's some advice for anyone going-order your food, then get out of the way so other people can order-don't linger in front of the coffee because guess what? People will want to access that area to make coffee. Let the workers do their thing and be patient-follow those simple instructions and enjoy breakfast. You're welcome.”

“I absolutely love this place! I get so excited knowing they reopen every year, and when they’re closed for the winter, I honestly don’t hesitate to make the drive to one of their other locations, whether it’s Woodbury, Plainview, or Roslyn.

So if you’re someone who spends the summer at your home in the Hamptons and then heads back west for the rest of the year, you can always visit one of their other locations and continue enjoying the same amazing food.

The drive is completely worth it. The food is incredibly fresh, healthy, filling, and genuinely delicious. It’s one of those places where you can enjoy a satisfying meal without feeling heavy or bloated afterward.

Everything is consistently exceptional, and if you’re looking for something that tastes amazing while still being a healthier option, this is absolutely the place to go. I would recommend it 1,001 times out of 10!”

“This is not your shee shee type ‘Hamptons’ deli but coffee looked strong and my stirred eggs with sausage were good. They had, ready to go, scrambled eggs with spinach and several steamer tray items with vegetables. My eggs were reasonably priced. I added in the hard boiled egg for a salad I had.”

“It is one of the best and most upscale wineries on Long Island. The wine selection is very large with some great roses, whites and reds. They also have a very delicious sake cider. The service was also great and the view was beautiful. We are red wine lovers and loved their Cabernet and Franc. Their signature rose is also delicious.”

Clean, well organized, and my order is always ready. They get an A+ from me &… extra credit points for the “no pets inside” sign on the door. I’m sooooo tired of dogs coming into food places on the East End! Their sign is refreshing (direct and kind). Thanks Sweet Spot, our town loves this summer location, that’s right across from Hampton Chutney (my other fav spot). 😊”
