“We frequently visit this restaurant for their happy hour, which runs from 4-6 PM, and it never disappoints. The special sake drink is a must-try, and their rolls are always a hit. The ambiance is tastefully decorated, creating a
chill and enjoyable atmosphere. The service is consistently excellent, adding to the overall positive experience. Plus, the addition of ping pong, shuffleboard, and foosball tables provides fun entertainment while you enjoy your evening.”

“I loved this place: just what I've been looking for in the overwrought world of Hamptons dining...nice outdoor dining (and indoor if you prefer) that's not overcrowded, great food on an imaginative menu, not crazy pricing, nice crowd of normal people and lovely service in a space where you could have a good conversation and hear everything. This is not a place glitzy people go to impress their friends. It was full of low-key friends enjoying each other's company and a good meal. I didn't know such a place still existed in East Hampton. Loved it.”

“Stopped here for breakfast during our visit to East Hampton, and I still dream about the cranberry cake the owner so kindly gave us in addition to our order! Highly recommend - they have amazing frittatas, a roasted cauliflower with cheese dish, and blueberry lemon cake. Big parking lot in back and some outdoor seating, which was much appreciated since we had our dog with us! The owner is SO kind and clearly an amazing cook/baker. I would go here every morning if I lived here.

Though the shop can get quite crowded during the busy summer season, convenient street parking is available.”

“I had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely amazing. Willie provided great service; he was friendly and made fantastic recommendations. The steak and whole fish were both exceptionally flavorful. The spinach and chickpea side dish was a delightful surprise, packed with flavor. The pesto spaghetti was perfectly balanced with the Burrata and not overpowering. I can't wait to go back!

P.S. I recommend the Meyer Lemon Cosmo! It’s a fantastic drink.”

“Had the chance to visit Sam’s last week and happy to report it’s still the same classic, family friendly spot it always has been. The minute you walk in the doors, all the great memories come flooding back. Our food (four cheese pie with chicken and the linguine with locally caught seafood) was delish! Our server was lovely. I also got a vodka martini that was perfect. Looking forward to coming back later this summer!”

“This place has really upped its game since being taken over by the new owner a few years ago. I used to bring food to the beach, but now it’s not necessary since the hut is there. The bagels and hot pastries are a must for the morning. Friendly place with happy people.”
