“From the owner welcoming you at the door to ther sing along music playing overhead, then comes there food- OMG! Plate portions are huge so don't order too many appetizers-2 can share with a party of 4. Meals are also large along with dessert, so again you can share with your partner. Homely feel, not Hamptons fancy pants, snobby over priced kind of place, but this food and service is worth it. We are customers for life now and will work our way thru the menu until we have eaten it all. Victoria and her husband who own the place and are your bartender and server, love it, what a story!“
“We are visiting the Hamptons and stumbled upon the Springs Tavern and Grill. The atmosphere was warm and very nice. Every person we interacted with was so nice and pleasant. This is a local hang out however we felt very welcomed as tourists. The food was 10/10! The short rib was a very generous portion and one of the best I have had. Someone in our party had the bolognese and said it was fantastic! Another had the burger and gave it 10/10 but said the fries were amazing too!John was our server tonight and he was very friendly, attentive and knowledgable about the menu. Super friendly too!“
“Chef Justin Finney and his entire culinary team are unquestionably one of the finest in the Hamptons, continuously executing a beautifully diverse & delicious menu. Peter, Rosa, Freddie, Arturo, Julian and many more dedicated hospitality professionals on the service team consistently deliver exceptional, Michelin caliber service out front that mirrors the passion for great, locally sourced cuisine delivered daily by Finney & team. The best of what’s around.“
“Great food and great service. I had the Berkshire pork and my friend had the swordfish. They were both wonderful, simply prepared very fresh and properly cooked. The ambience in the place is very nice and the artwork on the walls is very pleasant all in all a great experience with definitely go back again.“
“Service is excellent. $4 Biscuits nice treat. Ribs are to die for. Stringy fries were hard to eat they were so thin. Creamed corn was insane. Chicken sandwich was spicy but really good. Iceberg wedge salad delicious but quite small for $28. Maybe 1/4 head of lettuce, beets and tomato were great with it. Mixed drinks $20 but what else to expect in the area. They were pretty good. Overall, looking forward to going back.“
“Not my first time I've been blown away by the Duck entree here. Tonight's was EXCEPTIONAL, and I eat duck everywhere in the East End. Ambiance: groovy room, alive but not too loud Service: smart & knowledgeable, but he 'got' that we were too - great menu guidance, not pushing anything. I trusted the opinions. (not always the case!) Prices: were kind for the zip code. Wine list as well.“
“One of the best meals I've had at VSC since it opened. They've upped their game by having multiple specials (in addition to their longstanding daily one). They are trying to source locally as long as quality is maintained. I had the bay scallop appetizer. Could have been my entree. So delicious, the scallops were from Nova Scotia as the Peconic Bay ones are in short supply. Lobster pot pie also lovely not too creamy. Tarte tatin was crispy. Jake our server was attentive and had a sense of humor.“
“This place was absolutely amazing, the bartender as well as owner, Danny, not only served us these amazingly crafted drinks he also told us the logic or the story or the background of the drink. This gave the drinks a whole new experience and it felt great. Along side this and the kind and helpful staff the food was amazing too. The salmon and the filet mignon was wonderful. At a perfect medium rare, the meat was so tender and juicy. The Mac and cheese I also recommend as an appetizer as it was nice and cheesy but also crispy on the top. And the deserts on top of that were wonderful, the lava cake melts down and the crashing of the heated fudge going against the cold ice cream gives it a flavor of its own. Every plate was beautifully decorated as well as the drinks. Not only did I have a great meal but I also learned a lot too.“
“Our anniversary dinner was so special. Thank-you for always going above and beyond for all your clientele! The food was fantastic (the pasta is heaven) and it was nice to see friendly faces. Service was friendly, prompt, and we can't wait to come back!“
“Apparently this place just got a new chef, so ignore previous bad reviews. Went for brunch with a local friend and it was delicious. She had the banana stuffed pancakes and I had avocado toast. Service was friendly and upstairs dining room was cozy with views of water. Recommended!“
“Ate there only...priced as expected.Food & drinks: My partner found that a good fish wasn't well served w/a sauce of lobster.. (sometimes simple rings the bell!) Sadly nothing vegetarian or gluten-free offered - (mashed potatoes a bit watery?) Creme brule cinnamon-y?? We ate in the downstairs bar - described by true friends as 'cosy'... the service was perfect! It's always full it seems so res a good idea.“
