I absolutely love this place. They have a lovely atmosphere the bar staff are very attentive and they have the best happy hour going! 5:30-6:30 get cocktails for 11$ and a few bar snacks! I went to the American hotel bar and it was more expensive than lulus at full price and nowhere near as good.
At this price point, you expect a truly excellent meal, food that you remark on, service that sings, great ambience. It's simply not good enough. If Lulu had to compete with restaurants in the city, or any great cities in the world, its pricing peers, it would fail.

Was brought here for a cocktail/drink by sister who lives on the Hamptons I was visiting from the UK. We sat at the bar which had a lovely atmosphere and the bar tender was an extremely pleasant young man. Good choice of spirits and wine, we had a couple of glasses of Sancerre at a cost of 45.62 dollars, thought this was quite expensive. The dinning area looks lovely, well set out plenty of room.
