“Love this place when everything in sag is feeling way too pretentious. Probably the most down to earth restaurant in town (aside from buddha berry of course).Food wise. I love the asparagus but wasnt a fan of the blackened tuna special nor the thresher shark special that they had. I like that they are always changing the specials menu though. Ive been here a couple times and the last time i went they didnt have clams ): but ive tried them before and it’s good!“
“Apparently this place just got a new chef, so ignore previous bad reviews. Went for brunch with a local friend and it was delicious. She had the banana stuffed pancakes and I had avocado toast. Service was friendly and upstairs dining room was cozy with views of water. Recommended!“
“Stopped in last night because the menu looked interesting. Food, drinks and service were all excellent. My girlfriend and I both said it was probably the best steak tartare we ever had. The real star of the show was the dry aged duck. Probably a top 10 dish of my life. The only thing that kept me from giving it a full 5 stars was the inability to order from the bar menu while sitting at a table. I understand not getting happy hour pricing at the tables but all the items should be available to order. I really wanted to try the Khachapurri.“
“The food was very fresh. They did not have vegan entrees listed on the menu, but if you ask they can make some entrees vegan by replacing the meat with mushrooms or roasted brussel sprouts. Pictured is the Mexican Cowboy made vegan with mushrooms.“
“Wow. What a great experience! I was first introduced to Chef Payard as the pastry chef at a private club. Mind was blown. So I checked out his restaurant and was impressed with everything - the service, the menu, the creativity, the atmosphere, and the incredible food from start to finish. Do yourself a favor and check it out.“
“As a starter, we opted for the Chicken and Lemongrass dumplings, and let me tell you, they were absolutely divine! They're delicately steamed and served in a zesty ginger glaze, accompanied by a Thai dipping sauce. They're so delicious, you don't even need the dip! The marinated filet mignon steak tips also never fail to impress – they're consistently tender and bursting with flavor, making them a must-have every time we dine here. As for the main course, we invariably choose the baby back ribs. Good ribs are hard to come by in New York, but this spot has by far the best ones on the North Fork! The prices are reasonable, the cocktails consistently deliver on flavor, and the service is consistently excellent... all in all, just exceptional across the board.“
“Very nice atmosphere staff n owners chef are the nicest people My daughter is an employee and we were invited to dinner there n no other job that my kids have done that for the family! Beautiful place n beautiful people! The food is amazing“
“I can not tell you how what I felt walking into this place with a nostalgic feel of the country and a mom and pops feel shop cozy and calm. Stress free. My coworker and I ordered a Italian on a roll. Wanted a hero but they were sold out. You know what they did? Packed the roll so big it made up for what we wanted and it was one of the best we ever ate. God bless you and the sweet woman back there. I hope we will be out there more to get more from you. So generous and caring. After eating that sandwich I wanted to give you guys a hug for how well you took care of us. Thank you. We will be back. If anyone is doubting just do it. It's a step back in time and such a great place. Thank you to you guys.“
“Ate there only...priced as expected.Food & drinks: My partner found that a good fish wasn't well served w/a sauce of lobster.. (sometimes simple rings the bell!) Sadly nothing vegetarian or gluten-free offered - (mashed potatoes a bit watery?) Creme brule cinnamon-y?? We ate in the downstairs bar - described by true friends as 'cosy'... the service was perfect! It's always full it seems so res a good idea.“
“Commendable from every aspect. Parking, waitstaff, view, and most importantly, the dinner. Another delicious experience from appetizers to desserts. Our table enjoyed the baby back ribs and burrata with figs as a start. Entrees included the filet mignon and the local striped bass. Vegetarian opted for the portobello mushroom. Topped off my experience with the chocolate martini for dessert. Luscious.“
