“Overall had a nice atmosphere. Nothing extremely fancy but still cozy. The service was amazing and our waiter was incredibly knowledgeable about all of the dishes and drink options. The food was alright, the meats we ordered were slightly overdone and the creamed spinach was slightly sweet. Our oysters were fresh and the soup of the day was our favorite dish along with the chocolate ganache for dessert.“

“As a starter, we opted for the Chicken and Lemongrass dumplings, and let me tell you, they were absolutely divine! They're delicately steamed and served in a zesty ginger glaze, accompanied by a Thai dipping sauce. They're so delicious, you don't even need the dip! The marinated filet mignon steak tips also never fail to impress – they're consistently tender and bursting with flavor, making them a must-have every time we dine here. As for the main course, we invariably choose the baby back ribs. Good ribs are hard to come by in New York, but this spot has by far the best ones on the North Fork! The prices are reasonable, the cocktails consistently deliver on flavor, and the service is consistently excellent... all in all, just exceptional across the board.“
“Commendable from every aspect. Parking, waitstaff, view, and most importantly, the dinner. Another delicious experience from appetizers to desserts. Our table enjoyed the baby back ribs and burrata with figs as a start. Entrees included the filet mignon and the local striped bass. Vegetarian opted for the portobello mushroom. Topped off my experience with the chocolate martini for dessert. Luscious.“

“Very nice restaurant, a part of an inn. very specious inside but there is also sitting outside which is nice as it is between 2 buildings and you have plenty of shade. We had the Claude's Tacos (recommended), Fish and Chips ( a it blend, but I loved it), Lobster Roll (on a ban, but still excellent).“

“The short rib pizza is a delight for your taste buds! I've never had anything like it! The Panini's are tremendous, and their fries are nice and crispy! Can't wait till they put the fireplace on in the winter. I I was surprised that it wasn't crowded, but I am realizing that I don't think everyone knows about this place. If you haven't been there, then you have to go! Staff is friendly and accommodating. Great place for adults, kids, and families.“

We were so lucky to find this place last minute.The decor is beautiful, from the bar, the dining room, to the smoking lounge. The manager/bartender/server for the night, Dylan, went above and beyond to give us a great experience. Our waitress was friendly and polite, we were even lucky enough to meet the head chef and sous. We also met the wonderful Jazz couple that performed the night we went. We stayed here for *hours*. No exaggeration!FANTASTIC FOOD AND DRINKS!! And for someone who eats at a lot of places, the pricing for everything was more than reasonable, especially for the quality. I still tell the story of my visit here, and i’m going to for years to come. I am so excited to go back with my friends and family. “We are visiting the Hamptons and stumbled upon the Springs Tavern and Grill. The atmosphere was warm and very nice. Every person we interacted with was so nice and pleasant. This is a local hang out however we felt very welcomed as tourists.The food was 10/10! The short rib was a very generous portion and one of the best I have had. Someone in our party had the bolognese and said it was fantastic! Another had the burger and gave it 10/10 but said the fries were amazing too!John was our server tonight and he was very friendly, attentive and knowledgable about the menu. Super friendly too!“
“WoW! John Papas Cafe has Surpassed my expectations. The food is Awesome and has improved Dramatically over the past 7-years! Love this place! Service was Impeccable!!! Our waitress got our order correct and didn't miss a beat as everything we order was to perfection with our customizations. Not only perfect, but FAST!!! “My husband and I were getting desperate to find an interesting restaurant in the town of Southampton that didn't charge $31 for a plain Caesar salad and yet had good food and ambience. T-Bar surpassed our wishes to the point that we ate there 3 times during our month vacation in Southampton. The meatballs were superlative and the fish dishes unparalled. But on our third visit we found out that the best was yet to come as we decided to try eating at their outside area. It was bustling and beautiful. You'd never know you were on a street. “We first visited Sophie's about 10 years ago-we were not impressed. Mostly fried food served in styrofoam plates and uncomfortable high-top tables. This past fall, we visited Sophie's again (first time in 10 years). WOW-what an improvement! Delicious marinated steak, fantastic clams-on real plates! Beautifully decorated, comfortable dining table and chairs, friendly staff-great food and drinks. We have returned several times since-always satisfied with our dining experience!! My one complaint-don't serve appys with plastic plates.“

“One of the best meals I've had at VSC since it opened. They've upped their game by having multiple specials (in addition to their longstanding daily one). They are trying to source locally as long as quality is maintained. I had the bay scallop appetizer. Could have been my entree. So delicious, the scallops were from Nova Scotia as the Peconic Bay ones are in short supply. Lobster pot pie also lovely not too creamy. Tarte tatin was crispy. Jake our server was attentive and had a sense of humor.“
“went with 2 other people, and one of the burgers was undercooked (she asked for no pink and there was a lot of pink). the cheese part of the mac and cheese was pasty, like it was a bechamel sauce with extra flour on instead of a mornay sauce, aka they did the flour butter and milk but added no actual cheese to it. the fries were tasty and the burgers were well seasoned. i wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again.“

Ambiance: groovy room, alive but not too loud Service: smart & knowledgeable, but he 'got' that we were too - great menu guidance, not pushing anything. I trusted the opinions. (not always the case!)
