“Went here for the first time today. Had a truly excellent meal. Corn chowder was amazing, the turkey bacon brie sandwich was the perfect sweet and salty sandwich. My husband had the quesadilla with a side of their homemade buffalo sauce. He loved both. Overall great, quick service and a truly delicious lunch“

“I want to rate this 3 stars out of 5. The food is amazing but customer service not that great. My family was in from out of state and wanted to get take out and I instantly thought about this place. my fiance got the food and came home and my order was missing the cheese on the burger. So, I unfortunately couldn't eat with my family and neither did my fiance because he had to eat his food while driving 20 minutes back to get my food fixed at the restaurant and then 20 minutes back. However, I would still recommend you guys to other people. I would just suggest checking your order before leaving“

The tacos were absolutely amazing — packed with flavor and offered in so many different varieties that it was hard to choose just one (so I didn’t!). Each one was unique and delicious. The spicy margarita was the perfect drink to pair with the food — just the right balance of heat and refreshment. And don’t even get me started on the desserts... they were to die for. Save room, trust me. To top it all off, the owner, Dan, was incredibly welcoming and made the whole experience feel personal and inviting. It’s clear he’s passionate about what he does. “This is a charming little neighborhood store/restaurant with such a lovely atmosphere. When me and my husband walked in, Barbara greeted us with a warm and friendly smile. We weren’t sure what to order, so I asked for her recommendation, and she suggested the chicken cutlet sandwich.

Following her advice turned out to be the perfect choice. In the kitchen, Tracy—who was just as kind and sweet—chatted with me like an old friend while quickly preparing a huge and delicious sandwich.

Man, the sandwich was enormous, and it tasted amazing. I honestly wondered if it was even possible to get such a generous and flavorful sandwich at such an affordable price.

Tracy is clearly a talented cook, and the adorable lobster dolls handmade by Barbara are absolutely delightful. The two of them seem like humble, gifted people who truly represent the warmth of the East End of Long Island.

The shop itself has a cozy atmosphere, and I especially appreciated how clean and well organized everything was. Me and my husbands are so happy with our experience that we already plan to come back again.

“Had lunch today as first time visitors with my family of 5 (3 young kids). We had the best experience! Our waitress was so friendly and attentive! She might be our favorite waitress ever. She gave the kids activities and toys to keep them busy. The food was great and the dessert with candle for my daughter’s 5th birthday put our experience over the top. Brownie sundae was fantastic! We can’t wait to go back. So happy we found this spot.“

“Hellenic in East Marion was incredible! This was my first Greek meal in 5 years since before my diagnosis. I haven't been able to eat safe from cross contamination gluten free Greek food and today I was sooo happy! Hellenic makes their own gluten free pita bread. It was so good that I bought some frozen gluten free pita to go. We went to the farms today so we just kept driving but it will be a great place to go before or after taking the ferry to Connecticut in the future as it’s on the way. I wish it was closer to central/western Suffolk. I can’t wait to go back.“

“We had a large group in to celebrate my mother’s birthday and we had an amazing experience with Windamere. From the initial contact through each stage of planning, the people at Windamere were wonderful and helpful. The day of the party was perfect. The decor was beautiful, the service extremely attentive, and the food was amazing. My mother was very happy with the party, and we wouldn’t have had anything done any differently. We highly recommend the Windamere for your event.“

“We were in Greenport for Mother’s Day, and stumbled in here. The smell from outside was amazing. We ordered the half Brisket, Ribs and sausage with large fries, I was worried the food would be drenched in BBQ sauce, this was not the case. We were grateful the food was seasoned and sauced perfectly. The fries for us were crispy, some would say over done but perfect for us. We liked the atmosphere, service initially was a little slow but it was Mom’s Day. Oh two last things, if you order the sausage it is very hot, good but spicy hot so be prepared. Portions were decent, two of us ate from what we ordered and had a box to come home with.“

“very nice experience! we were a group of 8 who had a reservation for 4 pm but were early in Greenport so we decided to see if they could accomodate us earlier. And they did! thing that stood out was the great service! Our server Nicole was very upbeat, friendly and efficient. So were the others, the hostess, etc. who made it seem they were happy to work there. Food was OK and we were a bit disappointed because the band that was supposed to play canceled so there was no live music. But the service made it a very gratifying experience. looking forward to next time.“
