“Update: Went back their 1st day open again (March 28 2024).. and of course, had my favorite mezzo app! ? That pita bread ?Sam was great as always but one thing that did happen was a credit card charge on receipt but we paid cash. It says CC service charge. We just asked about it and then she said she forgot to take it off so we just told her if she took it off to just keep it as part of the tip we already left. Also we ordered mussels but felt like we took out a lot of empty shells. We found some in the broth but was alot of empty more than would be. Enough that we both questioned it. so we will try again.B loves the cornbread. I just remember the key lime pie I had last year for my bday. Yum!OLD REVIEW: I thought I already left a review but realized I didn't. This was my favorite discovery last Summer and I kept coming back bringing different people! I got sad to see it was temporarily closed but it is scheduled to open today and we are coming! ? Gotta go find all the pictures. I even celebrated my Bday there last year. Willing to drive from Southampton just to order to go ? Such a cute place...great food!”
“Wow. What a great experience! I was first introduced to Chef Payard as the pastry chef at a private club. Mind was blown. So I checked out his restaurant and was impressed with everything - the service, the menu, the creativity, the atmosphere, and the incredible food from start to finish. Do yourself a favor and check it out.”
“What a great little find in Peconic. A beautiful, quaint winery. They have small snacks and tons of Rose'. We had the still Jolie Rose'. Delicious! The staff is ready and waiting to help. Beautiful grounds. Quiet little spaces to get lost. Tell 'em Barsnobs sent ya!”
“SPARKLING WINE HEAVEN ?????????~ with a side of OYSTERS ! My hunnnies Jeff and I were just there for their SPARKLING WINE and oyster experience! Its was SO DELISH and SO FUN!! It was a sparkling wine pairing served with local oysters! We had Michelle who was our server and SOOO KNOWLEDGEABLE about sparking wine, the pairing and wine in general! We had SO MUCH FUN and the place was BEAUTIFUL!!! DEF RECOMMEND if you love sparking wine and DEF RECOMMEND you look out for the next oyster pairing experience! While we were there and because I loveeee food, the oysters were not quite enough for me ?so we coupled our pairing with a LARGE ? cheese board AND of course a full glass of sparking wine at the end! ~ ??????? ~ beautiful, fun winery and I definitely recommend you check it out!! XOXO!! ~~???”
“As a starter, we opted for the Chicken and Lemongrass dumplings, and let me tell you, they were absolutely divine! They're delicately steamed and served in a zesty ginger glaze, accompanied by a Thai dipping sauce. They're so delicious, you don't even need the dip! The marinated filet mignon steak tips also never fail to impress – they're consistently tender and bursting with flavor, making them a must-have every time we dine here. As for the main course, we invariably choose the baby back ribs. Good ribs are hard to come by in New York, but this spot has by far the best ones on the North Fork! The prices are reasonable, the cocktails consistently deliver on flavor, and the service is consistently excellent... all in all, just exceptional across the board.”
“Always Delicious and amazing experience. Is a fusion of guatemalan/latin/ american cuisine. Everything is so delicious. The owners are amazing. It is very recommended for a small bite or a full meal.”
“Nice winery in Long Island. Each part of the winery has its own character, and they have different seating arrangements for groups of 4-8. The wines & charcuterie boards are on the pricey side. We got the White wine tasting menu. It was 38$ and we got to taste 9 different wines. They were all quite good. The service was Aok. The negatives were the porta potty situation and the cash only tips. They should get real bathrooms and not many people have cash with them. Overall it was a good experience.”
“This is a great breakfast spot in an area that I feel is missing it. They’re very diverse in breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, and also have a dairy dip for dessert. The corn beef hash is their highly touted dish, and while it was good, I don’t think it was spectacular. The pancakes were actually surprisingly great with low expectations. Coffee is typical diner coffee, but next door is a great coffee shop to visit if you’d like. Would come again, worth the visit.”
“I think this place would rock if it played up the Grateful Dead theme. The inside is rather plain. Outside of the name and that they sell Long Island themed Dead shirts, there isn't anything else playing up the Dead angle, which I think is a mistake.”
“What a great surprise, the food was delicious and Ian the owner made it feel like you were eating at a friend's house. The food was nicely prepared, make sure you stop by and try the lamb on pita or beet salad with fish.”
“We had quite a variety of food. From the homemade soups to the amazing lunches. Everything was prepared with care and , as always, tasted wonderful. I give this place a 10plus! If you are in town, Erik’s is a MUST STOP!You will love it!Vegetarian options: Get the sweet potato burger. “As a former waitress, I felt sorry for the ONE waitress that was on duty last night. She was doing a GREAT job, just overwhelmed. Even two waitresses would have been very busy. We all felt very badly for her.”
“My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for 15+ years. And every time we order, we are met with amazing service, food and kindness! This place has the best chinese food in Southold!”
“Best Chinese around. Would 100% eat here over new china every day. My only pet peeve is they’re not open late enough for me, since I’m a night owl, but the food is of high quality. Plus, the lady at the counter (Jenny) is so nice. My family has been going to them every since I was born.”
“What an exceptional dining experience we had! Every dish was exquisite, with the Korean ribs standing out as particularly delightful. But what truly sets this place apart is the exceptional service. Maroni truly stands out for its top-notch food, attentive service, and inviting atmosphere. If you're seeking a memorable culinary journey, Maroni is a must-try option that won't disappoint.Special tip: Don't miss their sushi menu on Tuesdays - you can either dine in or order takeout.”
