“I'm glad I found Pellegrini on this rainy Memorial Day weekend. It made my weekend! Even in the mist I could look out at the beautiful vines and taste some delicious wines. They have a relaxed, welcoming tasting room.
I like it that they have a tour of the winery that you can do yourself, looking down on the vets and barrels from above.
This is one of the oldest vineyards on Long Island, with fully mature vines. Usually when you go to a winery you only get to taste the newly released wines, but what's really special at Pellegrini is that their wines have properly aged. The Merlot is especially mellow. I had a hard time deciding between the stainless steel fermented Chardonnay and the traditional one but ended up buying the traditional one because even though it's aged in oak the wood isn't too strong and it's got a nice complexity.
These are really zesty, fresh wines.
My partner and I are going back to spend some time on the patio when it's a little warmer.

“Born in New York and grew up in Huntington. This is my First time at Romas and visiting mom from Virginia, my son has never been to any authentic New York pizza joints. So when we tried Roma’s, he had the Sicilian and he told the owner “it’s the best pizza he ever ate”. Coincidentally the owner knows Tony from our local pizza place in Virginia. Real glad we got up for some real New York pizza before leaving to go home in little ol’ Virginia.”

“We had a wonderful dinner at GG. Service was warm and attentive, interior was comfortable, and the new menu was delicious. We especially enjoyed the scallops and the duck. Bonus points for the cocktails - the Shiso Pretty was excellent. I am excited to return when the weather warms up and the patio opens.”

“We visited on Saturday evening during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. From the moment we entered through the front door, we were welcomed by big smiles, big smells of delicious food, and what felt like a warm hug from a good friend. Classic and palette awakening cocktails. Try the brandade fritters and the best Caesar salad I have ever enjoyed. Sea bass was fresh out of the waters that surround the east end. Atmosphere was busy but not real noisy We could eat and chat without shouting. The wait staff was attentive but not hovering. They would look from a distance and see if we needed anything. A great taste I had the steak and it was fabulous. Easy to get to and we all had a great time !!”
