“Bedell Cellars is a gem. This was our 3rd stop on a vineyard tour on LI and we were thrown off by the name however, it was our favorite so far. Erika was incredibly knowledgeable and personable explaining the history of vineyards on LI as well as the varieties of wines they offered. Her enthusiasm was contagious and we left the counter excited to try her recommendations. She truly made our trip special and despite not being from the area would be willing to take a trip back to see her.”

“Born in New York and grew up in Huntington. This is my First time at Romas and visiting mom from Virginia, my son has never been to any authentic New York pizza joints. So when we tried Roma’s, he had the Sicilian and he told the owner “it’s the best pizza he ever ate”. Coincidentally the owner knows Tony from our local pizza place in Virginia. Real glad we got up for some real New York pizza before leaving to go home in little ol’ Virginia.”

Had traditional fish and chips but swapped out the fries for a salad. All great quality. Fish was fresh and greens simple but tasty. Husband tried the oyster soup and for him to say it was satisfying raised my eyebrow. Heard the desserts are great but too full to try. Don’t skip this gem.”

The tacos were absolutely amazing — packed with flavor and offered in so many different varieties that it was hard to choose just one (so I didn’t!). Each one was unique and delicious. The spicy margarita was the perfect drink to pair with the food — just the right balance of heat and refreshment. And don’t even get me started on the desserts... they were to die for. Save room, trust me. To top it all off, the owner, Dan, was incredibly welcoming and made the whole experience feel personal and inviting. It’s clear he’s passionate about what he does. This place is a must-visit for any taco lover. I’ll definitely be back!”

“We visited on Saturday evening during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. From the moment we entered through the front door, we were welcomed by big smiles, big smells of delicious food, and what felt like a warm hug from a good friend. Classic and palette awakening cocktails. Try the brandade fritters and the best Caesar salad I have ever enjoyed. Sea bass was fresh out of the waters that surround the east end. The burger and the roasted chicken. For sides we ordered the onion gratin, romanesco and French fries. Surprise banana split for dessert. Delicious! See you again soon. Happy Holidays!”

Our waitress, Gabby, was absolutely fantastic attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome. I had a small issue with my salad and the manager Jason, came right over to the table. “@fred terry made this spot on the stretch what it is today. @gingerbreadUniversity, Gingerbread Fred, Fred Terry, My ol' boss at the Lobster Roll Northside on Sound Ave in Riverhead, NY... This man and his business lifelong accomplice, Chef Pete are the customer based/retail version of why and how I got into food. Fred, Pete, Sous/Exec Jorge, Brandon, and yes... even Justin taught me the lines and roles of each station in a restaurant. Honey, I was green and sad and super motivated. These guys rode me like white on fkn rice. Due to that whoo-hah, I can carry my own brigade and make a killing in the raw arena. Fred was a master at his craft 60ish years ago and still is - encouraging line cooks to expound and expand 20+ years down the line. forever grateful.”
