One of the best places in Hampton Bays! Drinks are fantastic - especially the Rum Punch. The tuna appetizer is sushi grade. All the food is outstanding.
The inside is really cool. A real unique and fun Caribbean vibe. Great view of the bay with outdoor seating available.
There is a Rumboat that is a fun ride between Rumba and the sister restaurant Cowfish.
Very limited valet parking.

In a place known for its culinary experiences, RUMBA Island Inspired Cuisine & Rum Bar stands out. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, located on a charming waterfront setting that feels like a mini vacation. The space inside is on the smaller side, so it can feel a bit tight when it’s busy. The food is consistently flavorful and really stands out. Literally the best Pina colada ever, anywhere in the world. Same could be said for the ribs. Everything else was excellent as well, including duck empanadas, salad, Thai muscles, and various tacos. The shrimp tacos were easily the highlight of the meal—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The coconut rice is a must-order and pairs perfectly with just about anything. The 3 combo taco with chicken and shrimp came with a side of sweet plantains that did not disappoint. The pineapple burger was also a hit. The service was excellent and the staff was pleasant. There is valet parking, and the live music wasn’t overbearing. This place is not sleeping on its success.
