“Went for a birthday dinner with a group of 6. The service was A1. Very nice and helpful. The table was also a horseshoe shape that was nice for the group to interact.It was restaurant week. The food was good, above average. Nothing blew us away but it was good.I will go back.”

The clam chowder was delicious although the NY steak was a little tougher than I expected, but the side of truffle fries almost made up for it.Would return and recommend as all the dishes looked great.”

“This is a follow up to our 2023 review of R., Aire at the Hampton Maid in Hampton Bays. As superb as R. Aire was during the past eighteen months, recent visits underscore that the restaurant continues to reach new culinary heights under Chef and Owner Alex Bujoreanu. In a landscape of high priced and often mediocre restaurants on the East End, R. Aire is a unique venue - a chef driven restaurant which offers sophisticated cuisine inspired by the classics of Spain - in an elegant, serene setting - and at moderate prices.Although we have previously taken note of R. Aire’s outstanding signature paellas, the “non rice” sections of the menu offer a range of equally delicious dishes - all made with the finest (and often local) ingredients and reflecting the chef’s masterful synthesis of both classical and modern influences.For example, Chef Bujoreanu offers an amazing Fideua - a short grain pasta dish cooked in the method of paella (in a paella pan) in a richly flavored sofrito. R. Aire’s Fideua is a textural wonder, served two ways - as a seafood and squid ink classic or a rustic wild mushroom and duck version. Fideua is rarely offered in the U.S. - these renditions are authentic and superb.R. Aire’s appetizers and small plate “pinchos”offer an array of delectable choices, from flavorful morsels of grilled lamb (Morunos), aromatic grilled Shishito peppers, succulent octopus, airy meatballs and a lovely heirloom beet salad. One could construct a deeply satisfying dinner from these perfectly composed small plates.In addition to the Fideua and traditional paellas for which R. Aire is known - the paellas have a perfect “socarrat” base and are cooked to order and served in individual paella pans - the non rice dishes are equally impressive. Memorable main courses include pristine local sea scallops, breast of duck, Iberico pork and a filet mignon of Wagyu beef. This is cooking at a very high level.The service at R. Aire is warm and inviting. “Had a great brunch with my mom a few Sundays back. I had the shrimp and grits and my mom a breakfast specialty bowl. Also had the duck empanadas. Food and service were excellent and we had a great view of the bay as we ate and chatted. First time dining there and it was great. Bar and dining area set up With a great island vibe.”

“Every dish we ordered was EXCELLENT!There is something for every palate.The owner was very attentive to all guests.I highly recommend the calamari. Try it first before adding lemon or anything. It will easily stand on its own without anything.”

“Absolutely delicious food surrounded by a beautiful atmosphere! I had the pleasure of eating here after the grand re-opening and I couldn’t have been more pleased. Staff was lovely! My favorite things that I ate were the Hamptons White slice (unreal, roasted garlic flavor), eggplant Parmesan (fried to perfection with the perfect tomato sauce), and of course the Doughknots. Delectable fried dough knots served with dipping sauces. My recommendation would be to have the marscapone dipping sauce. It’s incredible! Well done Uncle Joe’s ???”

“My girlfriend and I were in Hampton Bays visiting family and we were craving sesame chicken. We are originally from Queens and we can never seem to find a spot that can make sesame chicken the right way. We decided to try Kong Chen and they absolutely nail the sesame chicken! Everything about it is perfect, the delicious sauce is so sweet and savory. The chicken pieces taste very fresh and came out nice and crispy. Simply the best sesame chicken I have ever had, I wish they made it this way back home. You can tell they put a lot of love and quality into the food, im sure a lot of other things on the menu are delicious, do not be hesitant to order! It seems like this is a family owned business and they simply go above and beyond to satisfy the customer. Gems like this place are very hard to find, appreciate them and support them all you can ! :D Thank you Kong Chen for a first delicious experience with your sesame chicken, I will definitely be coming back to Hampton Bays just for your food! “The filet was cooked medium to my liking and was perfect-tried it with the blue cheese butter on the side which gave it an incredible taste when I added it to melt on the steak. Paired with the Brussel sprouts and onion rings-so delish!! Well worth every cent! ?”

“I have chased authentic Irish eateries from Manhattan to Montauk. For eastern suffolk this feel is pretty authentic. Food is good and closest your get to authentic that far east. Service could be better. I've been there early with no rush and when they are busy and service is just slow and forgetful. I'd recommend mgmt consider bringing sessions to the environment.”

“I wish I had found this place earlier! I used to order a big breakfast sandwich from a nearby place, but never again as the Shore Shacks hungry man breakfast sandwich is amazing!Parking: There are dedicated parking spaces in front of the van.”

“Walked in expecting to get a chicken cutlet sandwich but that quickly changed when I saw their variety of hot food selection! I ended up going for the yellow rice with veggies, carne asada and potato wedges. The meat was tender and delicious and for $9.50 they really fill up your platter. Will definitely return soon to try their other options, if you’re in the area I highly recommend it!”

“This is actually called Tiki Joe's, it stopped being the Beach Hutt a few years back. Google, if you are reading this, please update your map. It's a great addition to a beautiful beach. Tiki Joe's has a restaurant, ice cream stand, beach shop, bar and live bands at night. There is plenty of seating and parking but you need to pay to park if you come before 5 pm during the summer. The only down side are the bathrooms. Only 2 stalls and one sink for the women, which is challenging for a place with a bar! Otherwise I would give it 5 stars.”

“The food is good but if you don't speak Spanish, there might be a language barrier. I ordered a grilled cheese with avocado and bacon. I received something completely different ? it was still good but definitely not what I ordered. I received a grilled chicken sandwich with pepper jack cheese, bacon and avocado on a roll. It was tasty but definitely double the price of what a grilled cheese would have been.”

“I came here because a reviewer said they had a separate vegan menu. Sadly they didn't. They did have a vegetable burrito. So I gave it a try and was pleasantly surprised. Rice and beans with Pico de gallo, mushrooms, onions, peppers and guacamole. Cute convenience store deli with a kitchen in the back. Friendly and accommodating staff. My girlfriend had a steak burrito and like it.”

“My Dad's leash broke while surfing Ponquogue beach and we saw the sign for "surf shop" - went in to the little shack in the back and got a leash, then had lunch! They have good old greasy snack bar food and milk shakes among other things. All the fried seafood is tastey. Maybe a little expensive but cannot complain. Will be back for lunch if I'm surfing and in the mood for it”

“The bartender Shawn was the best. Such a hustling guy he was able to handle the entire bar on his own and it was full. I will go back when I'm in town. The folks next to me had chicken sandwiches, one grilled and one fried. They said they were excellent. A nice spot on the water, but unfortunately it was raining otherwise deck seating would be awesome.”
