Sophie was our waitress and was super friendly, attentive, and helpful with recommendations. She checked on us throughout the meal without hovering, which made the whole experience really enjoyable. “Went to Maroni for the first time today....we split the chicken parm, the chicken milanese, and the penne ala vodka. All of it was amazing!! I can't even choose which I liked best, as all three were so great. Had the meatballs as well, and they were also perfect. One of the best meals I've had in a while, and I have nothing but good things to say.”

“Today me and my bf broke up here and meanwhile we had good time. Sparkling lemonade was surprisingly delicious and rose just good as usual. We arrived there around 3 jn the afternoon, we were quickly set to the table and I felt so delighted to bath in the warm beautiful sunshine. Good wine, good conversation and goodbye, it was a lovely stay in croteaux.”

“🌮🔥 A Taco Lover’s Dream! I had an incredible experience at this taco spot! The tacos were absolutely amazing — packed with flavor and offered in so many different varieties that it was hard to choose just one (so I didn’t!). Each one was unique and delicious. The spicy margarita was the perfect drink to pair with the food — just the right balance of heat and refreshment. And don’t even get me started on the desserts... they were to die for. Save room, trust me. To top it all off, the owner, Dan, was incredibly welcoming and made the whole experience feel personal and inviting. It’s clear he’s passionate about what he does. This place is a must-visit for any taco lover. I’ll definitely be back!”

“I have only had breakfasts there, but it's all excellent especially the eggs benedict. My only complaint is that they charged over $3.00 for maple syrup for the pancakes! I find that ridiculous, pancakes are $15 and then to charge over $3.00 for maple syrup! That should come with the pancakes.”

“My wife an I are late bloomers. We only found Magic Fountain at the beginning of Summer 2025. I can eat any Ice Cream. However, my wife can't have any dairy, specifically casein. We've tried a few other places (we're in Port Jeff Station nowadays) and both grew up in southern Nassau. Any place I would stop by...usually had nothing for her..maybe lemon ice. plus the staff would get screwed up (one time, a local place gave her regular ice cream instead of non,-dairy). Well..we stopped by in Summer 2025, I walked in and said my wife CAN'T have dairy. Every staff member looked and understood. They pointed out the non dairy ice creams they MAKE there, along with Sorbet including a Blood Orange, which she loved. My first time, I tried Kulfi..which was delicious. since then, we average twice a month..taking almost an hour ride, just for ice cream. It's that worth it. Some of the flavors I've had there; Kulfi Guiness Honey Lavender Lemon Ginger Coffee and other assorted flavors. I'm 70..having lived on the Island all my life. Remembering Jahn's of RVC, and countless other Ice Cream Shoppes..but THIS IS THE BEST!!”

Our waitress, Gabby, was absolutely fantastic attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome. I had a small issue with my salad and the manager Jason, came right over to the table.
