“May 30, 2024. I had a delicious prime rib dinner at lunch. It is so hard these days to. find one that is tender and juicy but this fit the bill. Friendly staff and friendly patrons.”

The best aspect of the experience was the outstanding service. The young man who served us today (wish I had asked his name) was so well informed, doting in his service, and charming. He is a remarkable asset and made our afternoon a truly memorable joyous experience.”

“While visiting Eastern Long Island, we came upon il Giardino Restaurant. We were unable to make a reservation. So when we arrived, the place was packed with high energy, which seemed like some locals and tourists. We were able to get a spot at the bar for some cocktails prior to being seated. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were served quickly considering it was a full house. Food was very good. The restaurant is in a old style house with a nice charm to it. There was parking on the street and also a back parking lot.”

“We had a wonderful dinner at GG. Service was warm and attentive, interior was comfortable, and the new menu was delicious. We especially enjoyed the scallops and the duck. Bonus points for the cocktails - the Shiso Pretty was excellent. I am excited to return when the weather warms up and the patio opens.”

The tacos were absolutely amazing — packed with flavor and offered in so many different varieties that it was hard to choose just one (so I didn’t!). Each one was unique and delicious. The spicy margarita was the perfect drink to pair with the food — just the right balance of heat and refreshment. And don’t even get me started on the desserts... they were to die for. Save room, trust me. To top it all off, the owner, Dan, was incredibly welcoming and made the whole experience feel personal and inviting. It’s clear he’s passionate about what he does. This place is a must-visit for any taco lover. I’ll definitely be back!”

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such warmth, it truly lives up to its name! The chocolate and coffee are absolutely divine, and everything we tasted was exceptional. We had coffee, chocolates, and pastries, and each bite and sip was better than the last. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will absolutely be back. Our waitress, Gabby, was absolutely fantastic attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome. I had a small issue with my salad and the manager Jason, came right over to the table. It literally is our favorite, and most definitely our go -to restaurant when friends from Queens and Nassau visit, as it never disappoints!! The food is absolutely delicious and always fresh; I had the lamb, which is the best and most tender I’ve ever had - the short rib pot pie awesome ? The staff makes you feel like family every visit. A shout out to Scott, who is always accommodating; a real sweetheart, and attentive to all his guests. “We ordered cakes and cookies for an event, and we were blown away — and so were our guests! We got compliments for a while afterwards. I honestly didn’t even know a cake could look romantic, but somehow they made it happen. It was elegant, unique, and completely unforgettable. The cake and cookies were the most talked about things!! Not only do you get the best-tasting cakes and pastries around, but Cristina and her team at Flourbud are also an absolute dream to work with. They made the entire process easy and enjoyable from start to finish! This is the best place around.”

“My wife an I are late bloomers. We only found Magic Fountain at the beginning of Summer 2025. I can eat any Ice Cream. However, my wife can't have any dairy, specifically casein. We've tried a few other places (we're in Port Jeff Station nowadays) and both grew up in southern Nassau. Any place I would stop by...usually had nothing for her..maybe lemon ice. plus the staff would get screwed up (one time, a local place gave her regular ice cream instead of non,-dairy). Well..we stopped by in Summer 2025, I walked in and said my wife CAN'T have dairy. Every staff member looked and understood. They pointed out the non dairy ice creams they MAKE there, along with Sorbet including a Blood Orange, which she loved. My first time, I tried Kulfi..which was delicious. since then, we average twice a month..taking almost an hour ride, just for ice cream. It's that worth it. Some of the flavors I've had there; Kulfi Guiness Honey Lavender Lemon Ginger Coffee and other assorted flavors. I'm 70..having lived on the Island all my life. Remembering Jahn's of RVC, and countless other Ice Cream Shoppes..but THIS IS THE BEST!!”
