If you are looking for a solid steak house in the Hampton bays/west Hampton area, look no further. 1 North not only had some fantastic food but the ambiance and service was right up there with the food. The steaks were cooked to perfection. Price point was very reasonable compared to the quality you receive. 1 North Steakhouse offers a terrific experience with great service and steaks cooked perfectly. The Braised Short Ribs are tender with a red wine demi glaze accent, and the Prime Beef Burger receives a very good rating. Desserts like Lava Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream are absolutely delicious. The restaurant serves really great steaks with a variety of delicious sauces and a tasty dry rub. The atmosphere is classic and comfortable, making it a perfect place for a special dinner out. It is hands down one of the best steakhouses in the area, with consistently top-notch food and incredibly attentive service. However, experiences can be hit or miss; one visit had a porterhouse steak special that came out rare instead of medium rare, and the waitress refused a substitution. For a more relaxed experience, going in the off-season is recommended. Reservations are recommended, as it can be busy.
