“@fred terry made this spot on the stretch what it is today. @gingerbreadUniversity, Gingerbread Fred, Fred Terry, My ol' boss at the Lobster Roll Northside on Sound Ave in Riverhead, NY... This man and his business lifelong accomplice, Chef Pete are the customer based/retail version of why and how I got into food. Fred, Pete, Sous/Exec Jorge, Brandon, and yes... even Justin taught me the lines and roles of each station in a restaurant. Honey, I was green and sad and super motivated. These guys rode me like white on fkn rice. Due to that whoo-hah, I can carry my own brigade and make a killing in the raw arena. Fred was a master at his craft 60ish years ago and still is - encouraging line cooks to expound and expand 20+ years down the line. forever grateful.”

“Ate there with my entire family. Started with fresh avocado dip and chips, then had 6 dinners on the menu all different. Everyone DELICIOUS !!. Atmosphere was busy but not real noisy We could eat and chat without shouting. The wait staff was attentive but not hovering. They would look from a distance and see if we needed anything. A great taste I had the steak and it was fabulous. Easy to get to and we all had a great time !!”

“went with 2 other people, and one of the burgers was undercooked (she asked for no pink and there was a lot of pink). the cheese part of the mac and cheese was pasty, like it was a bechamel sauce with extra flour on instead of a mornay sauce, aka they did the flour butter and milk but added no actual cheese to it. the fries were tasty and the burgers were well seasoned. i wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again.”

“It was a wonderful evening in many ways! We arrived about 15 minutes early. We were escorted to our table. Turned out that we requested another one and we were then seated at another table. Server immediately came to our table. We ordered cocktails- Sag Harbor Sangria which was amazing. Fabulous appetizers- which were shared among the three of us- Brussel sprouts, shishito peppers and Salad. The main course was delish Halibut! Our server was very attentive throughout our meal. She personally suggested an Apple dessert! Amazing to say the least. In all it was a wonderful evening!”

“Had a great lunch for 4 on the outside tables off the sidewalk. Mahi mahi tacos and reubens were excellent. The cucumber salad was almost as good as my grandmother's. The German potato salad would have been better if it wasn't served lukewarm. Our server, I believe his name was Alex, did a good job answering questions. Service was prompt.”

“Pellegrino‘s is some of the finest Italian food on the East End. It also is a cool place to hang out with a casual vibe with no pretense.. as a local realtor when people ask me, what’s a great restaurant in the north sea area Pellegrino is always the first to come to mind. Great food fantastic service a small, but vibrant bar area or what you’ll find here.
They make a great pizza.
I cannot recommend this place more highly.
Stop in for a bite you will not be disappointed.”

“Local burger has been an institution now over at the Southampton ice rink ,driving range , and mini golf.
The burgers are absolutely delicious, fairly priced, and served with a smile.
Whether it’s Sommer or Winter, they never close.
The next time you’re out, it’s a golf balls, but taking escape on the great rink grab yourself a burger, some fries and a milkshake. You will not be disappointed.”

“Service was excellent, ambiance 10/10. Food came in a timely manner and we wanted for nothing. Ordered the Cacio e Pepe, branzino and the rigatoni ragu special. Everything was delicious but having had the ragu special, the bolognese and the amatriciana pasta dishes here in the last month- they all taste the same. I'm sure the other dishes have a varied flavor profile but the meat sauces all have the same flavor and lack the oomph of a really good sauce.”

“Capt. Phil and his team delivered an awesome beach party last night in Southampton. From appetizers to dessert everything was superb. Freshest clams ever, with Phill shucking non-stop for our guests. The lobster was good and the steak was excellent. Tables were beautifully set with lanterns and torches down the beach plus a giant bonfire! Best for me: they did EVERYTHING PERFECTLY, so we really got to socialize with our friends. Our guests were raving, (even our most jaded Hamptons friends). This was an event to remember and I will always be thankful to Capt. Phil and his extraordinary team!”

“Shinnecock Lobster Factory makes amazing lobster rolls! I ordered a warm, buttery “whale” roll. You could have ordered a small “dolphin,” a medium “shark,” or a large “whale” and the whale roll has the most lobster meat. The whale roll is more expensive but I think it was worth it. I bought a raspberry iced tea for my drink. There is only outdoor seating, including a grass area you can bring dogs. You order at the window and bring the food to the tables with benches. There is no indoor seating. The restaurant is a quick 5-minute drive from downtown Southampton. I definitely recommend this restaurant and will be going back!”

“Fresco is terrific - all of the food is fresh and delicious. I love the Italian hero, the Grandma's pie, the pepperoni pizza - the garlic knots are addictive. With such a wide selection you will find many things you like and it's worth coming back to try them all. The staff really cares and the Owner sets that tone. Fantastic! Will always come back to Fresco.”

“Yesterday we had a girls day from work and went to get some lobster rolls. OMG 😲 it was the best of the best. We had a variety of lobster tacos, fritters, shrimp and fries, Cajun lobster rolls, lobster bisque. Everything was made to order, fresh and absolutely delicious 😋 💯. Worth the trip from Hempstead, NJ, Greenlawn and Mastic. Will go again.”
