We had a wonderful dinner here tonight. Amanda was ou server and she was friendly, pleasant & attentive. The food was fantastic. I had the halibut special. It was excellent. The best halibut I’ve ever had. My husband had the shrimp scampi which he said was very flavorful. The shrimps were large. He also ordered the buffalo wings, which he enjoyed. We look forward to the next time we’re in Southampton so we can enjoy Shippy’s again.
Staff is pleasant and attentive Food is delicious Ambience is clean and inviting This is our 3rd time there in 1 week. I hope it stays that way It will be our family's go to place for sure.

Very mixed feelings about this reimagined old guard restaurant. I had read the recent reviews and could not understand why they are so uneven. Now I do. Food is OK to good. Drinks seem tasteless and watered down. Thumping gay 80's disco music is the worst- and LOUD. The place is very dark. The servers are mostly young, unprofessional, and inexperienced.
