“We had the pleasure of having Claudes for thanksgiving dinner and it was fantastic! The restaurant is tucked away at the Southampton Inn and honestly i did not know what to expect. The staff was incredibly friendly the food was excellent and the ambiance was wonderful. I cant wait to come back and try the regular menu!“

“East End Clambake catered my daughter’s and my mother’s joint birthday party in my backyard in July. I cannot describe how amazing and wonderful they were every step of the way. We ended up renting chairs and tables as well as went with the The East End Lobster Bake package, with fried chicken (the only catered who offered this as an addition to lobster!) Patricia coordinated everything and really made it so very easy. I can’t remember the two women who came to the event along with the chef but they really out themselves, our 60 guests were truly delighted and the food was incredible. No one left hungry, that is for sure!!!! They really know how to run a smooth operation and all of the staff were so lovely to work with. They are absolutely the best!!!!“

“Dopo has become our favorite restaurant in the Hamptons. Vlad, the host, welcomes us with warmth and recognition and does his best to seat us at a nice table. He makes everyone feel special. The wait staff is warm and makes sure to check in regularly but discreetly. The food is delicious. We love the bread, chopped salad, whole branzino, mac n cheese and much more. The fellow diners are often fun to chat with and watch as well. No matter how often we go, and sometimes it's weekly, our evenings at Dopo always feel special.“
“Looking for a good meal at a reasonable price in Southampton? Wait no longer!! This is primarily a fish market, but they have a take-out kitchen that prepares all sorts of great meals. The fish and chips (house made chips, not fries) with Cole slaw was a steal at its price as were the clam strips. A full range of typical fried/broiled seafood items are also available. The fresh fish looks great and they have enough grocery items so a quick seafood dinner can be made with the fish you just bought, as well a sauces and chowders. Has moved to the top of my list for places not to miss in town.“

“It’s outdated, the food isn’t high quality, but it’s a Southampton institution. That being said, my husband and I went on a date night we’re we ordered one slice of pizza from 10 places from Wainscott to Hampton bays and Paul’s had the best slice. A bottle of Caesar dressing is always in the fridge. Don’t come here expecting much from the regular menu, and staff is always rotating so service is iffy. Stick with the pizza and you won’t be disappointed“

“@fred terry made this spot on the stretch what it is today. @gingerbreadUniversity, Gingerbread Fred, Fred Terry, My ol' boss at the Lobster Roll Northside on Sound Ave in Riverhead, NY... This man and his business lifelong accomplice, Chef Pete are the customer based/retail version of why and how I got into food. Fred, Pete, Sous/Exec Jorge, Brandon, and yes... even Justin taught me the lines and roles of each station in a restaurant. Honey, I was green and sad and super motivated. These guys rode me like white on fkn rice. Due to that whoo-hah, I can carry my own brigade and make a killing in the raw arena. Fred was a master at his craft 60ish years ago and still is - encouraging line cooks to expound and expand 20+ years down the line. forever grateful.“
