“I want to rate this 3 stars out of 5. The food is amazing but customer service not that great. My family was in from out of state and wanted to get take out and I instantly thought about this place. my fiance got the food and came home and my order was missing the cheese on the burger. So, I unfortunately couldn't eat with my family and neither did my fiance because he had to eat his food while driving 20 minutes back to get my food fixed at the restaurant and then 20 minutes back. However, I would still recommend you guys to other people. I would just suggest checking your order before leaving“

“went to the waterfront on July 4th weekend, great time with family and friends, food was ok/average....the bartender Jimmy was outstanding, a real genuine person, great service, knew his stuff 1000000%, and as hot as it was out there, he still managed to smile and serve above and beyond.....Great job Jimmy a true asset to any company!!!!“

“This is THE place to get Chinese food in the North Fork. The food is delicious with high quality fresh ingredients, and it has the wok hei that we all know and love. The dishes always have lots of goodies - meaning that they’re not stingy on the meat and veggies in each dish. I live in Manhattan and I’ve not found a place better than Jan’s without having to trek down to Chinatown. My family gets excited every time we come out here to get take out from here!“

“This little hole-in-the-wall spot really blew me away! The crab cakes were a little on the mushy side, but the Shrimp Scampi was absolutely phenomenal—quite possibly the best I’ve ever had! It was packed with flavor and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. I’d honestly come back just to have that dish all over again! And even though this is a seafood spot, the fried chicken was another surprise—juicy, flavorful, and definitely worth trying. Can’t wait to come back and explore more of the menu! If you’re on Shelter Island and looking for a great dinner without having to get all dressed up, I definitely recommend giving this place a try!“

“Great owner and staff. Made us feel very comfortable and welcome.. Food VERY GOOD! My wife, who is NOT a fish eater almost finished ger entire plate of flounder. Owner told her if she didn't like it he would take it back! Didn't happen. My dish was excellent Would highly recommend!“

“We had a large group in to celebrate my mother’s birthday and we had an amazing experience with Windamere. From the initial contact through each stage of planning, the people at Windamere were wonderful and helpful. The day of the party was perfect. The decor was beautiful, the service extremely attentive, and the food was amazing. My mother was very happy with the party, and we wouldn’t have had anything done any differently. We highly recommend the Windamere for your event.“
“very nice experience! we were a group of 8 who had a reservation for 4 pm but were early in Greenport so we decided to see if they could accomodate us earlier. And they did! thing that stood out was the great service! Our server Nicole was very upbeat, friendly and efficient. So were the others, the hostess, etc. who made it seem they were happy to work there. Food was OK and we were a bit disappointed because the band that was supposed to play canceled so there was no live music. But the service made it a very gratifying experience. looking forward to next time.“

“little Fish has the best fish and chips. we found this gem on our Tour of Ireland. excellent staff and excellent food!!“
