We first visited Sophie's about 10 years ago-we were not impressed. Mostly fried food served in styrofoam plates and uncomfortable high-top tables. This past fall, we visited Sophie's again (first time in 10 years). WOW-what an improvement! Delicious marinated steak, fantastic clams-on real plates! Food was fresh and delicious. Lots of options for everyone, including vegetarians. Variety of good wines and beers. Delicious dessert selections. Our server, Michelle, was knowledgeable and friendly! We will certainly be returning.

As a former waitress, I felt sorry for the ONE waitress that was on duty last night. She was doing a GREAT job, just overwhelmed. Even two waitresses would have been very busy. We all felt very badly for her.
