“Solid. Mexican cuisine that my Mexican spouse approved. Chill little house turned restaurant with art for sale on the walls, friendly and welcoming staff, and quality drinks. Family friendly. Recommend this gem of a restaurant just outside of downtown sag harbor.“
“Apparently this place just got a new chef, so ignore previous bad reviews. Went for brunch with a local friend and it was delicious. She had the banana stuffed pancakes and I had avocado toast. Service was friendly and upstairs dining room was cozy with views of water. Recommended!“
“If you are a displaced east coast Northerner or just love lobster, then give this place a try.We had dinner there recently and enjoyed it. 3 of us had the Lighthouse Lobster Roll. Plenty of lobster. The only disappointment was the amount of melted butter, There was plenty on & in the roll, but we wished they had poured some on the lobster once it was on the roll. We ordered one of the Montauk Lobster Rolls as well and it was very good. The seasoned chips were great as were the panko french fries and cole slaw. One of us had the salmon with risotto and raved about how great it was!The server was delightful. He was attentive and engaged but not overpowering. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed and very clean. I could have done without the several TVs, but that's just my preference. There is outside seating located on the side rather than the street which is a real plus since the noise is reduced and the distraction of passers-by is limited.Unfortunately, as in most of the area, parking is somewhat limited. We ate on the early side, so it wasn't too bad and we found a space close to the restaurant with pay-by-phone.They take reservations too.We were very happy. We were celebrating a birthday and they presented her with one of the best Key Lime pie slices we've ever had (she was kind enough to share). Very thoughtful!“
“Wir waren mit einer Reisegruppe aus Deutschland zum Mittagessen dort und würden nicht enttäuscht! Andrea und ihr Team hatten alles perfekt vorbereitet. Die Speisen haben richtig lecker geschmeckt. Fisch und Meeresfrüchte waren frisch und von bester Qualität. Die Gruppe war begeistert und hochzufrieden. Nochmals vielen Dank an Andrea und ihr Team!“
“Why give a small roadside restaurant in Eastern Long Island five stars for lunch? The Food! And, The Fable.Somewhere deep in the wilds off Montauk Highway sitting in a clearing where Gatsby meets Talent lies a small fish house. Here, The Fishermen prepare fresh entrees for The Hungry. It’s really good! Thus, when Your Spirit yearns to see where convertible Porsche’s, Botox and the Eastern sea shore summer elite converge for mealtime, drive two or three hours and eat here. The fish is fresh, the vegetables are local and the one per cent puts their pants on one leg at a time just like us.I loved eating here!“
“Very nice restaurant, a part of an inn. very specious inside but there is also sitting outside which is nice as it is between 2 buildings and you have plenty of shade. We had the Claude's Tacos (recommended), Fish and Chips ( a it blend, but I loved it), Lobster Roll (on a ban, but still excellent).“
“We and our friend are elderly - the food and service were exceptional. We would like to commend the young lady who served us (did not catch her name) as absolutely outstanding from start to the finish - carling, attentive, amusing and simply a lovely person. Please pass our appreciation to her - Reservation at 6pm - Brashich. You should be proud of her. Neboysha R Brashich“
“I love this place! Food is amazing and service is friendly and top notch. Salads are fresh and delicious. Tables comfortable to enjoy your meal and the place has a super chill vibe. Lots of beers to choose from. For desert you absolutely have to try the carrot cake. It is the best anywhere period. Highly recommended!“
“We are so glad to have tried this place despite the word "cafe" in its name. Everything we ordered was delicious, and beautifully presented. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Really like the decor, simple, clean and peaceful. Definitely on the return list, and if I were you, I would ignore some of the not so positive reviews of the place and give it a try!“
“Commendable from every aspect. Parking, waitstaff, view, and most importantly, the dinner. Another delicious experience from appetizers to desserts. Our table enjoyed the baby back ribs and burrata with figs as a start. Entrees included the filet mignon and the local striped bass. Vegetarian opted for the portobello mushroom. Topped off my experience with the chocolate martini for dessert. Luscious.“
