My boyfriend got the waygu steak, he said it was the best steak he's ever had. I tried a piece he's not wrong! The bar seats are so comfy and I loved being able to enjoy a fancy dinner. “Stopped by for lunch while travelling through the area and was a much better option than the chain options. They have a small building I almost missed as driving by - had to turn around to go back. I highly recommend the burger with spicy mayo and a side of potato salad. Some great options for those that like seafood too.“

“I celebrated my birthday at the Seal tonight. We haven't been in a while. I had the Short Rib Ravioli, Mom had the Serloin Steak, my wife had Tuna and our son a grilled cheese. Everything was delicious! Our server said she was new, but did a great job. We finished with warm Carmel apple pie! It was the perfect ending to a great night!“

“First meal here with my husband for his birthday. The entire evening was relaxed and very delicious! We cleaned our plates and polished off a few very creative (beet!) cocktails, but the nicest part was the card for my husband that was waiting on the table when we arrived, wishing him a hand written happy birthday singed by the staff. That extra special touch was just so thoughtful. We will for sure be back- with friends!!“

“First time visit, great views of boats and river activity. Nice wine selections. Clam chowder was outstanding, not thick but more RI type with jalapeño slight bite, lots of clams, potato flavor. Mussels (white) with great well cooked fries great broth, would have liked more bread to dip in sauce. Quinoa salad was just ok. Fried calamari with cherry peppers was well done, firm not rubbery or too chewy. Will definitely return!“

You could enjoy something here every day and never get bored! The service is, of course, impeccable, the dining areas immaculate and tasteful, and the food is the phenomenal focal point! “Had a wonderful birthday meal. It was the day before St. Patrick's Day so the specials were Irish oriented. My husband had the whiskey honey glazed salmon which he said was very tasty. My daughter had the traditional corned beef and cabbage and my son had Shepard's pie. Not much was left to bring home in doggie bags. Lots of nice wood paneling inside and we were seated near the fireplace. The grandkids even enjoyed it.Parking: The restaurant is right off of Route 9 in Old Saybrook. There is parking in both the front and the back of the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Walk up ramp for a cess to front door and outdoor seating when the weather is nice.“

“I'm biased. I grew up in Flanders and went to school with the family that owns it. That being said, they offer classic shoreline fare, as well as some neat and exciting takes if you're looking for something fancy. It's got new England charm with a touch of class, so it's definitely a step up from most seafood joints. Everyone is super friendly, the food is great, and it's a great place to take your family.“

“A very pleasant place, quiet, with a cozy fireplace, a bar and of course delicious food. The service is very nice, pleasant and friendly waitresses. I was there with my friends who almost a year ago moved to the US. They got in love with that place! Separate children's menu with good selection. Delicious cocktails, thanks to the bartender! And of course I was delighted with the food, thanks to the chef and his team! I ordered stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer- just great! I also ordered a harvest salad with pieces of steak - oh God it was just magical! My friends ordered smokehouse burgers and were absolutely delighted! I highly recommend this place! Me and my friends want to go back there in the summer to enjoy eating outside because they also have tables outside!“

“We regularly visit the place every summer, this year the food is top notch. The taste ,the quality can't beat it. We had the cauliflower fries, chicken and lamb gyro with curly fries. The fries are so fresh and crispy, the gyros are fresh,well seasoned making it mouth watering tasty. I don't know what changes they made this year, the food taste a different level ( best) than previous year. Tasty,fresh good quantity.“

“Tony D's isn't your typical whole bunch of flavors I've cream location but they look fun. Service was quick and efficient but I wish she would have suggested options since I was lost. The actual location has no sitting but the house next door seems is where you can go and sit, and it looked comfortable. What I liked about this place is that is just outside the hectic downtown Niantic and accessibility is perfect and has ample parking“

“Great lobster rolls and beautifully cooked fries at Kim's beachy "shack" right by the sea in Old Saybrook. Lots of quality lobster meat on a beautifully grilled brioche roll. Fries were crisp, hot and delicious, made with really good potatoes too.“

“Always a great experience! Whitefish salad, bluefish spread, Asian Calamari salad... picked up some cod to make miso cod... I did not have time for the oysters today but they are always wonderful! Everything's always fresh and the staff is super helpful and smiling!“

“Entered parking lot on left of the building, and it was totally unsafe for us to manage. We are elderly and in our 80s and had to try to step into and overa channel for runoff going up from the parking space to an uneven walkway to the restaurant. The parking lot on the right of the restaurant is where we should have parked, but it was our first visit and we had to dart thru traffic to park.Parking: See my comments about parking problems.“

“Had the hot lobster roll and clam strips.Every thing was very tender and fresh. Truely just what I was craving. The bun was soft, not soggy, buttered and toasted and tasted more like a brioche bun which is my favorite for lobster rolls. Service was friendly, pleasant and fast. The atmosphere was cute New Englalnd style decore with Mariachi music which added to the friendliness of the staff. They had an option for out door dinning that was covered and gave views of boat lights on the even though it was evening. If you are military, it's less the 2 minute from Niantic any they even have ice cream. If I have time I plan on trying other items on there menu. I absolutely recommend this place.“

“It was a cool damp late afternoon when we arrived at Bill's. We were able to get a table easily but within 30 minutes the place was jumping. Our server was pleasant and efficient. I ordered the special mussels and shrimp over angel hair pasta with a "pink" sauce and accompanied by garlic bread. My wife had the fried clam strip platter with fries and coleslaw. The fried items were delicious and not greasy nor soggy. Both entrees were ample servings, neither of us was able to finish. Our server offered to wrap up the unfinished meals but we opted not to. Needless to say, dessert was out of the question. My wife enjoyed a glass of wine and I had a beer. Bill's offers a full bar. Outside there is a large deck overlooking the water, which, on a warm summer day is the place to be. Bill's is not your run-of-the-mill clam shack, but a full service shoreline restaurant with a down home style friendly vibeParking: On a beautiful summer weekend, parking maybe tricky.“

“Had lunch here after kayaking and I could not love the ambiance more. There's an attached greenhouse that is such a cozy vibe I cannot wait to go back. Cute outdoor area w fire pit as well and I hear they have great karaoke. We got malt fries and they were a perfect start! Salty and malty and still crispy! I got raspberry jalapeño burger. Came with bacon, grilled jalapeños and strawberry jam. Burger was cooked perfectly on a toasty roll. Bacon was crispy and salty and put against spicy jalapeños and sweet raspberry jam there was nowhere to go but flavor town after one bite. We tried the malt salt wings and they were crispy and full of flavor too. Bartender was on his own and took a triple seating when we arrived and he handled it perfectly! Food was quick and hot and we didn't want for anything. A great find and we will def be back to try more of their huge burger menu“

The restaurant's decor is upscale modern. the hostess and waitstaff was very courteous and friendly The food was very good. You can enjoy all the many flavors of Aisan food.
