My Brother Ap and I had an excellent experience at this amazing spot! When walking in for the first time I loved being greeted by all that fresh seafood on display! The atmosphere was dope. AP & I always find ourselves talking to everyone that walks by our table 😀 but it is fun. We had a Dope time. The service was very warm and inviting with the staff being very friendly and nice to everyone. Our server was named Jasmine and she was super cool and I liked how she always kept my water filled. Trust me, I drink a lot of water too!😁 Now let's get into the Amazing Seafood! Al ordered: 1. Lobster Roll W/truffle fries $32💣💣💣 2. Seafood platter with Pollock & Brussel Sprouts $38.00 💣 3. Hosmer Root Beer $2.99 🫣😁 AP ordered: 1. 1lb Steamers $20.00 💣 2. Baked Haddock $25.00 💣 3. Coke Zero $2.99 Flanders earned a 'Big Al's 💎 Gem Spot' for many reasons but I need to highlight that I ate the very best Lobster roll ever! Hands down!! I stand by that!!! I love the way that it is served to the table in a bowl of perfectly seasoned butter is something AMAZING! On top of it, they served me a very generous portion of Lobster and it came with French Fries and for ONLY $32.00! I also ordered the seafood Platter and every single thing that was served on that plate was AMAZING! The fried Pollock was Amazingly Dope too! ❤️ Note: They also serve the Bomb Fish & Chips and every Tuesday it's only $7.99! 💣 I can go on and on about how great Flanders Fish Market is but you really need to get your a** down there right away and check it out! “Excellent food , great small town feel“

“So I was hopeful that the change in ownership would bring good things.. but food wise it didn't. the building looks very good, the staff was also very good. now the bad news ordered the whole belly clams they were WAY over cooked the french fries were cold and looked like they had been sitting for a while. the fish tacos where also poor.. it's unfortunate I had high hopes but more than likely won't return.“

“I took my wife and kids there for my wife's birthday. Worst experience we've ever had at a hibachi. Extremely over priced to start with. The cooking part was awful. There was no vegetable toss even though they were prepared and ready on the cart. The cook also did not do the sake part or offer water for the kids. The food had a very bland taste to it . The server never even checked on us we had to get their attention to get a glass of water. My wife was extremely disappointed and so we're our kids. I asked to speak with the manager, and was told our chef was the manager. Overall it was a very disappointing experience and would not recommend.“

Tia Lobster Roll Season The Dock Restaurant 👍🏾 Town of Waterford, CT This evening Tiana and I dropped into The Dock Restaurant located on the Niantic River in the Town of Waterford. The Dock is a seasonal spot specializing in seafood so I had to go try out their Lobster Roll and much more. I arrived hungry and ready to eat so Tiana and I ordered and reviewed: 1. Cup Lobster Bisque $8.00 👎🏾 2. Side of Clam Strips $13.00 👍🏾 3. (2) Hot Lobster Roll w/fries $33.00ea 💣 After ordering our food we walked to the dining area and picked out our table overlooking the Niantic River and patiently waited for our order number to be called. Once called we carefully escorted the tray of seafood delight to our table and I started with the Lobster Roll. I was pleasantly surprised that the lobster meat was sitting on top quality rolls. The delicious lobster Roll was paired with delicious French fries and it earned a bomb.💣 I moved onto the Lobster Bisque and I think it would have been delicious if it hadn't been served "chilled". Getting served cold lobster bisque was quickly followed by thumbs down. 👎🏾 Finally, Tiana and I added lemon to the Clam strips and we ate the whole basket.😎 They were very good so that easily earned a thumbs up. 👍🏾 The Dock Restaurant serves up great seafood and the atmosphere is absolutely beautiful when the weather is nice. I really look forward to visiting this spot many more times this summer so be on the lookout for me. “We have had two outstanding meals here this summer. The food, the service, and the ambiance is exceptional. It is our favorite place to eat in Niantic. And Mike, the Bartender, makes great cocktails! Though it is so busy he takes time to engage the customers! He makes the best whisky sour !!!“

“We have been coming to David's place for a long time - usually very good. This time (7/23) was not the greatest. Ordered sea food salad roll toasted. It was not toasted and they have changed the sea food salad since last month. It was really good before - now it's more "Stop and Shop" type salad with big chunks. Before it was chopped up small and had a delicious taste. Also the chips were obviously the "bottom of the bag" ones. Sorry - just disappointed. We drove quite a few miles to eat there.“

“I have two words for you, Malibu chicken. This is a favorite in our home. Our family finds themselves just wanting to go there for this alone sometimes it is that good!! My son also really enjoys their salmon dish. I wish Otter Cove had more visibility to gain more recognition because it’s fully deserved. “01.26.25- 'Big Al's Reel Reviews' - Little Galapagos Restaurant ❤️ City of New London ❤️ I dropped into The Little Galapagos Restaurant this evening to review a couple of their popular menu items which were Chicken Wings, Thai Chilli Sauce followed by Carne Asada Ecuadorians Style meal that was actually really Dope ❤️ however the Chicken wings were not great at all so they earned a Thumbs 👎🏾 The atmosphere and service was really dope there and I am sure that had I ordered anything else on the menu besides the Wings would have been just as good as the Carne Asada. “Black point pizza is always my go to when I want an absolutely amazing pizza. for me I have the cooks keep it in the oven a bit longer so it stands up when you pick it up to eat. the sauce is to die for also. if you like your pizza a little more firm just ask and the cooks are happy to make your food exactly as you like. minor the owner is a stand up guy and really did good with this recipe. the salads and his homemade balsamic dressing is the best I've had from anywhere. if you have not come out to black point you are really missing out. “Stopped at a great little spot in Old Lyme today— Hallmark Drive In for lunch. Sorry no pictures. The food was great! We shared the clam strip platter and the grilled hotdog platter (with curly fries). Both choices were delish! The clams were flavorful and very tender. The “dog” was grilled just the way we like it. The servers were delightful too! Next time we stop by I think I’ll try their 🦞 roll! They also have great ice cream!“
