This man and his business lifelong accomplice, Chef Pete are the customer based/retail version of why and how I got into food. Fred, Pete, Sous/Exec Jorge, Brandon, and yes... even Justin taught me the lines and roles of each station in a restaurant. Honey, I was green and sad and super motivated. These guys rode me like white on fkn rice. Due to that whoo-hah, I can carry my own brigade and make a killing in the raw arena. Fred was a master at his craft 60ish years ago and still is - encouraging line cooks to expound and expand 20+ years down the line. forever grateful.“

“So this is a Pub that is Cash Only, and shares it’s parking lot with neighboring businesses. So parking may not be close by. As you enter you’ll notice that The Bar Area is placed against the wall to the right. There’s about 6 beers on tap with plenty of bottled beers and canned beers in-stock, but they don’t serve food here. At the time of my visit, there was Grilled Cheese for $1. The place has a small interior is ideal for small to midsize groups of people to attend. The even have outdoor seating for larger crowds. They offer an ATM, Arcade Game such as Cards, Dart Board, Old School Jukebox, One Flat Screen TV, Popcorn Maker, and a water station. There’s 2 unisex restrooms for use and smoking is done outside the building in the back, that has tables and chairs to sit on. This place has a fun but more of a laid back atmosphere about it and is definitely a local hangout bar, but it’s worth checking out.“

“So the server there had a bad attitude towards my husband and I ,we ordered the shrimp platter and it didn't look right and we asked for a different one she got all pissed off and was practically throwing the ketchup at us and the food ,that was so unprofessional .I asked her her name she told me it was mel and not for nothing but the shrimp are so small and there isn't enough especially for a price tag of 19.99 plus tax not to mention high priced tasteless drinks they use cheap liquor and not much of it ...

“A Little Slice of France — and One Seriously Good Quiche

From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and genuinely smiling — the kind of service that makes you feel like they’re happy you came, rather than simply happy you’re about to pay the bill.

And then came the food… four minutes. Yes, you read that correctly. Four. Minutes. I barely had time to start wondering where my food was before it was already sitting in front of us.

We ordered the quiche, Cowboy Egg Benedict, and the soup of the day — a chilled cantaloupe soup.

Let me tell you about that soup. First of all, it was beautiful. Pretty enough that you almost feel guilty disturbing it with a spoon. But more importantly, it was delicious — cold, refreshing, delicate, and surprisingly sophisticated. A perfect dish for a warm day.

The Cowboy Egg Benedict was packed with flavor, and the sausage was especially good — perfectly seasoned with a really nice savory character that worked beautifully with the eggs and the rest of the dish.

But the real star for me was the quiche.

I’m not exaggerating when I say this may be the best quiche I have ever had in my life. The texture was unbelievably silky and creamy, almost melting in your mouth. This was not just a quiche — this was a quiche that clearly had its life together.

And there’s another reason we’ll be coming back.

Right next door, they have a separate bakery building where you can buy delicious freshly baked bread and other French products. Our favorite was the seeded bread — the kind of bread where you tell yourself, “I’ll just have one slice,” and somehow half the loaf disappears five minutes later.

Overall, this place delivers the full French experience: excellent food, warm and attentive service, beautiful presentation, and that unmistakable feeling that you’ve discovered somewhere special.

We will definitely be coming back.
