“So this is a Pub that is Cash Only, and shares it’s parking lot with neighboring businesses. So parking may not be close by. As you enter you’ll notice that The Bar Area is placed against the wall to the right. There’s about 6 beers on tap with plenty of bottled beers and canned beers in-stock, but they don’t serve food here. At the time of my visit, there was Grilled Cheese for $1. The place has a small interior is ideal for small to midsize groups of people to attend. The even have outdoor seating for larger crowds. They offer an ATM, Arcade Game such as Cards, Dart Board, Old School Jukebox, One Flat Screen TV, Popcorn Maker, and a water station. There’s 2 unisex restrooms for use and smoking is done outside the building in the back, that has tables and chairs to sit on. This place has a fun but more of a laid back atmosphere about it and is definitely a local hangout bar, but it’s worth checking out.“

“We had an incredible Valentine's Day dinner at La Costanera in Half Moon Bay. The fixed menu was thoughtfully curated, and every dish was delicious — the oxtail entrée was absolutely amazing and a standout of the evening. The atmosphere was romantic and elegant, making it the perfect setting for a special night. Our dining consultant, Veronica, truly made the experience exceptional. When we noticed that each table had been given a rose but ours was missing, she kindly explained that the hostess should have provided one and personally went downstairs to get one for us. Her attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism made us feel genuinely cared for. Veronica is easily one of the best servers we've had in a long time. We can't wait to return!“

“Greenport Distilling and Bar is no longer in Greenport. It has recently reopened on the site of One Woman Winery at 5195 Old North Road in Southold. In addition to great cocktails based on their own gin, vodka and bourbon, you can also opt for a variety of One Woman wines.
They are open every day except Tuesday from 11:30AM to 6:00PM. On Fridays, they stay open for Jazz Night from 6:00 to 9:00.
The musicians vary from week to week but they have all been good. What does not vary is the quality of the cocktails, wines and delicious snacks. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The newly renovated barn provides an impressive and comfortable environment to relax and enjoy.“

This man and his business lifelong accomplice, Chef Pete are the customer based/retail version of why and how I got into food. Fred, Pete, Sous/Exec Jorge, Brandon, and yes... even Justin taught me the lines and roles of each station in a restaurant. Honey, I was green and sad and super motivated. These guys rode me like white on fkn rice. Due to that whoo-hah, I can carry my own brigade and make a killing in the raw arena. Fred was a master at his craft 60ish years ago and still is - encouraging line cooks to expound and expand 20+ years down the line. forever grateful.“

“Best dirty martini I have had in a looooong time. It was smooth and you can taste the gin, vermouth, and olives perfectly. They have a bunch of beers on tap and even bottles of liquor I’ve never heard of.
Our bartenders name was Sil (I’m sorry if I spelled your name wrong!) and he was AMAZING. Initially we went in for drinks but after I saw someone eating a dinner, we had to order something. We are so glad we did. We got the spicy wings and a basket of fries. The fries brought me nostalgia of my favorite bar that is no longer, Longbow. The wings were slamming. If I hadn’t eaten prior, I probably would have ordered another order wings. They were also the best I have had in a while. A perfect crunch and the seasoning was great too. They actually had a nice kick to them. The menu is pretty small compared to other bars BUT it’s worth to order something.
The atmosphere was the best. Good music, perfect lighting, and that feeling of “home”. It definitely is a locals place up until a certain time. They have a pool table and a couple of other pay to play games.
We are definitely going to be going back.“

“Pellegrino‘s is some of the finest Italian food on the East End. It also is a cool place to hang out with a casual vibe with no pretense.. as a local realtor when people ask me, what’s a great restaurant in the north sea area Pellegrino is always the first to come to mind. Great food fantastic service a small, but vibrant bar area or what you’ll find here.
They make a great pizza.
I cannot recommend this place more highly.

The food here is great and light on the pallet. Everything so far here flows one after another. When it comes to weddings, this venue is amazing. As a guess this place has been accommodating and amazing flavors for me and my wife. If we were from NY we would have had our venue be this place. 10/10“

The minute you walk in the doors, all the great memories come flooding back. Our food (four cheese pie with chicken and the linguine with locally caught seafood) was delish! Our server was lovely. “This is a gem of a restaurant. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very comfortable bar and dining room. The staff is impeccable. The food presentations were artistically done and all tasted amazing. We enjoyed our Old Fashions. My wife loved the seared scallops and I the oysters. My wife thought the stuffed pasta with a fresh local pea sauce was a delight. I enjoyed the juicy and smokey half chicken. We split a nice warm chocolate cake and the coffee was very good. “very nice experience! we were a group of 8 who had a reservation for 4 pm but were early in Greenport so we decided to see if they could accomodate us earlier. And they did! thing that stood out was the great service! Our server Nicole was very upbeat, friendly and efficient. So were the others, the hostess, etc. who made it seem they were happy to work there. Food was OK and we were a bit disappointed because the band that was supposed to play canceled so there was no live music. But the service made it a very gratifying experience. looking forward to next time.“
