What a wonderful little winery on the North Fork!! A great alternative to the larger bachelorette party, giant bus woohoo wineries. Lovely flight suggestions from Peter on site and just a delightful stop on the way in or out of the east end!
Our first wine tasting stop yesterday did not disappoint! Peter greeted us right away and encouraged us to sit in the yurt to do our tasting, which was perfect since it was a 40 degree windy day and the yurts have portable heaters inside and are super cozy. We did the dealers choice tasting ($25) which was ample for two people to split with the size of the pours. The wines were nice and easy drinking, I especially loved the 2013 Merlot. Wonderful service and great selection. We tried a hand selected flight based on a few questions asked by the servers. I enjoyed 3 of the 4. I only liked the 4th. Casual atmosphere with a few tables outside. There is shaded area and it very pet friendly. I will definitely be back. I really enjoyed the Sauvignon blanc and purchased a bottle. Prices are reasonable.
