“Great find! On a chilly winter night Nookies provided the perfect last minute (a rare occurrence, I believe) dinner for two with cool easy vibes and really yummy warming food.

Fun retro decor and neat off the beaten path spot in Southold area.

We also got a nice quick little tour of the motel and would love to stay here on our next visit out!

“We decided to head over to grab a cocktail ? after dinner. The Black Llama is in Stirling Square. This lounge is situated in the same square of the 1948 pizzeria, American Beach Hotel and Restaurant and the Tree bar. The evening was absolutely perfect. We went on a Friday night and it was a good mix of people at each place I mentioned. The Black Llama had a DJ playing music ?. I enjoyed it. I believe the type of music the DJ was playing is Electronic Dance Music - EDM. The drink menu is unique which is what I expected at this lounge bar. The waiter was super helpful and offered up suggestions. A relaxed atmosphere. We sat outside but I took a look at the inside and it looked great. Our cocktails were delicious. Also, for those who might not want alcohol, they do mocktails. I will go back ! It is a special spot.”

“Great meal last night wit PAWPAW at the Lin Beach House. The intimate setting and stellar service can’t be beat. The food never ceases to surprise me. “While visiting Greenport, I stumbled upon this charming café and instantly fell in love. Their bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich paired with a cinnamon bun became my go-to breakfast combo, and the coffee? Absolutely amazing.. smooth, strong, and perfectly balanced.

But let’s talk about their croissants! I tried the ham and cheese croissant, and it was next-level. Topped with everything bagel seasoning, it was perfectly flaky on the outside and soft on the inside... a total game-changer. Do not miss this one; it’s seriously special.

The staff was warm and friendly, and the cozy decor made it feel so inviting. I noticed they had donuts, but they were sold out when I visited. (Apparently, they make a limited batch each day, so getting there early is key!) It’s one of those places that feels like a hidden treasure—hard to leave and even harder to forget. If you’re in Greenport, this café is a must-visit!”

It would have been reasonable to say they closing, but without hesitation a hot chocolate was whipped up and they were so sweet about it.The hot chocolate was a perfect balance of nostalgic sweet chocolate with a gourmet touch that made it delicious. I grabbed a brownie at the last minute and was so glad i did. The brownie was fresh, soft on the inside, and moist. Would absolutely order this again and I am excited to try their other baked items.It was just a hot chocolate and brownie, but it warmed me up on a chilly night and their kindness made my night. Awesome little place with great people.”

“After a day driving around this part of LI we needed a place to rest before dinner, the place was very relaxed and the beers that we tasted were perfect, it will be a destination in our future trips to this area.”

“We stopped in on a quiet Thursday night but it did not disappoint. Alex, the bartender was friendly and created a great custom cocktail. The food was great. The wings, deliciously seasoned with sauces on the side-a must try. We also had the meat board which was more than expected. A great experience and will definitely be back.”

“Great owner and staff. Made us feel very comfortable and welcome.. Food VERY GOOD! My wife, who is NOT a fish eater almost finished ger entire plate of flounder. Owner told her if she didn't like it he would take it back! Didn't happen. My dish was excellent Would highly recommend!”

“We visited the Pearl for an early dinner last Sunday. We had an unbelievably terrific meal! It was a great menu too. The appetizers were amazing! Everything at the Pearl is made from scratch & the presentation of each dish was beautiful! My favorite appetizers were the Burratta and the Shrimp Saam. I had the meatballs which had to be the best I’ve ever had. My Grandson had the ribs which fell off the bone & melted in your mouth. Everyone was very pleased with their choice. The staff were so nice & the chef Jessica amazing! She took the time to come out & talk to us and make sure we were satisfied. It is obvious that she loves what she does & takes great pride in her meals. The Pearl is our new go to restaurant in Greenport. We can’t wait to go back!!”

“We had a wonderful dinner, it was not very crowded as it was on a Wednesday evening. We sat outside, and Kassandra was our server. She was attentive, friendly and answered all our questions and prompt.  A true asset to the restaurant! We also met the manager on duty, Jose. He was kind enough to show us some historical parts of the building and was a pleasure as well. The food and drinks were delicious!”
