“We are NoFo regulars. While we typically try to avoid the crowds, we decided to go for drinks at the black Llama in the off season. It was amazing. Such a cool vibe. GREAT (imaginative!) drinks in a world where everyone thinks they are a mixologist. we may even go back during the busy summer season-we liked it so much!“
“This is the first time that we tried this restaurant, and it was one of the best decisions we made. The food was exceptional as well as the atmosphere! The service was impeccable, and the waitress was attentive The calamari was very very good and well prepared as well as the baked clams, even though we didn’t have heavy meals we had salads with grilled chicken and it was very good. I’m glad that we ordered a dessert which was gelato with espresso poured over it. Great way to end a very good meal definitely will be returning! A++++“
“I think the best reason to eat at Claudio‘s is that it's been Claudio's since 1860! It's a beautiful ambience, water view, the best location one could have in a charming town. The food was good, not outstanding, but certainly good. It wasn't pricey, about middle of the road price-wise. All in all a lovely Christmas Eve experience with my family!“
“Update: Went back their 1st day open again (March 28 2024).. and of course, had my favorite mezzo app! ? That pita bread ?Sam was great as always but one thing that did happen was a credit card charge on receipt but we paid cash. It says CC service charge. We just asked about it and then she said she forgot to take it off so we just told her if she took it off to just keep it as part of the tip we already left.Also we ordered mussels but felt like we took out a lot of empty shells. We found some in the broth but was alot of empty more than would be. Enough that we both questioned it. so we will try again.B loves the cornbread. I just remember the key lime pie I had last year for my bday. Yum!OLD REVIEW: I thought I already left a review but realized I didn't. This was my favorite discovery last Summer and I kept coming back bringing different people! I got sad to see it was temporarily closed but it is scheduled to open today and we are coming! ? “Commendable from every aspect. Parking, waitstaff, view, and most importantly, the dinner. Another delicious experience from appetizers to desserts. Our table enjoyed the baby back ribs and burrata with figs as a start. Entrees included the filet mignon and the local striped bass. Vegetarian opted for the portobello mushroom. Topped off my experience with the chocolate martini for dessert. Luscious.“

“Had the pleasure of my wife and I returning to one of our Islands restaurants, Isola last night and was really pleased. It’s nice to begin thinking of enjoying local restaurants after a summer of visitors, guests and other obligations. Really enjoyed the Cioppino with pasta. Sauce was wonderful, rich but not heavy and overbearing. It was filled with seafood, including shrimp, octopus, squid and shellfish. Totally enjoyable nice portion, so that I had enough to take home for lunch the next day. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the swordfish special served over various vegetables. It was prepared to perfection and the caper sauce complemented the entire dish. Really nice place to enjoy that is “affordable”.“
“Everything here is fantastic. We started with the cocktails, of course, which were smooth, complex, interesting, *and* delicious and refreshing. We built our own pizza which stood toe-to-toe with some of the best places in NYC, the sauce being the standout. And we wrapped up with a mint chocolate chip ice cream sandwich with a buttery but not underdone and somehow also cold cookie stuffed generously but smartly with velvety ice cream. Cannot recommend enough.“
