Fine drinking establishment. A favorite meeting place for locals. Great A/C.
Sometimes the best spots are the ones you don't plan for.
While walking through Mattituck looking for breakfast, we stumbled into the Broken Down Valise. What looked like a classic local dive bar turned into one of the highlights of our morning. The bartender was incredibly welcoming, invited us in for Bloody Marys, and before we knew it, we were enjoying great drinks, good conversation, and a perfect start to the day.
