“We took a drive out east for a little day of recharge and stopped at Levain Bakery—what a treat! The shop smelled amazing and had such a cozy vibe. The sweet girl behind the counter really made our visit special. She chatted with us like we were old friends, packed our cookies so beautifully, and made us the best coffee to go with them. It’s rare to meet someone who genuinely loves what they do, and she made the whole experience even better. Between her warmth and those incredible cookies, this stop was the highlight of our day!!”

“I've never had anything but terrific take-out from Red Door, and I've never found their service to be anything but professional. They've been a reliable year-round go-to for ages — *far* better than the old place at this same location, which was erratic. The estimated wait times they post on their website have always been accurate for me, so I've never had to wait for more time than it takes the person ahead of me to pick up their order. As for their prices, let's be honest, it's the Hamptons. But nothing is outrageous, and I tend to enjoy my $80 take-out dinners over three or four meals. Over these many years, I’ve never found better Chinese food anywhere in the East End, which is why I'm heading there tonight.”

“From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by what was quite possibly the most patient host I've ever seen. She was managing a huge crowd with a smile on her face, even while dealing with guests insisting they were owed a table when they weren't. She handled everything with professionalism and kindness.

Once we were seated, we were lucky enough to have Omar as our server, and he was easily the best server in the restaurant. He made sure our table was well taken care of, checked in at the right times, and everything came out promptly, exactly the kind of service we were hoping for. The next time I come back, I'll definitely be asking for Omar.

And the food? I can't lie.. it was absolute FIRE. I'd give the meal an 8/10 overall. Every dish at our table was solid, and I don't think there was a single bad plate.

“We visited on Saturday evening during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. From the moment we entered through the front door, we were welcomed by big smiles, big smells of delicious food, and what felt like a warm hug from a good friend. Classic and palette awakening cocktails. Try the brandade fritters and the best Caesar salad I have ever enjoyed. Sea bass was fresh out of the waters that surround the east end. The burger and the roasted chicken. For sides we ordered the onion gratin, romanesco and French fries. Surprise banana split for dessert. Delicious! See you again soon. Happy Holidays!”

This man and his business lifelong accomplice, Chef Pete are the customer based/retail version of why and how I got into food. Fred, Pete, Sous/Exec Jorge, Brandon, and yes... even Justin taught me the lines and roles of each station in a restaurant. Honey, I was green and sad and super motivated. These guys rode me like white on fkn rice. Due to that whoo-hah, I can carry my own brigade and make a killing in the raw arena. Fred was a master at his craft 60ish years ago and still is - encouraging line cooks to expound and expand 20+ years down the line. forever grateful.”

Spoke with manager on way out and told him how we enjoyed the restaurant. We made reservations very easy and perfect table outside with ocean view.”

“It is one of the best and most upscale wineries on Long Island. The wine selection is very large with some great roses, whites and reds. They also have a very delicious sake cider. The service was also great and the view was beautiful. We are red wine lovers and loved their Cabernet and Franc. Their signature rose is also delicious.”

“Really great tasting fish! I got the fish and chips and both were fired perfectly. Tartar sauce was good but ask for an extra one as one is not enough. Be careful on weekend lunch hour as it gets packed and also the food seems to be rushed and doesn't come out as great which would give the rating of 4.5. But overall lovely food and I always come here every summer.”
