the Almond is a favorite of mine going on over 20 years. yes thar is how consistently good their food is! Friday eve's dinner surpassed their high bar. The scallops were perfectly cooked with a charred exterior and juicy tender inside. Other popular menu items include the tasty pork chop, the Lamb special, and the Fluke. The service and hosts are warm and welcoming, with the waiter and support staff being polite and attentive. The striped bass, scallops, and steak frites are perfection. Portion sizes are very large, ensuring guests get plenty of food for their money. The ambience is great, and there is often a wonderful buzz at the bar and inside the beautifully decorated space. However, guests should be mindful that the noise level inside can make conversation a challenge; it is definitely less noisy outside. While some diners have noted issues with food timing and cooking, overall, Almond provides a delightful dining experience that many have enjoyed for years.
